Hyderabad Business Hubs Bereft Of Activity

Many criticism and allegations on lapses in terror attacks and security measures, made the Hyderabad government to seriously look into the law and order, security and safeguard processes.

Nowadays, Hyderabad is brushing with hectic policing to secure and keep the pace safe with any terror activities. After the recent blasts, four times intelligence warned for possible terror activities in the public places in twin cities of Hyderabad & Secunderabad.

After the fugitives unleashed a reign of terror in Dilsukhnagar in the City, it appears that the police have taken upon their shoulders the responsibility of terrorising the people. Along with local police, five battalions of special police and Greyhounds began swooping the area giving tense moments to the people in Tolichowki, Mehdipatnam, Begum Bazar, Old City, Secunderabad railway stationb area and Rani Gunj, which are usually abuzz with a lot of commercial activity.

People could not muster courage to conduct business as usual with the presence of police, instead of feeling secure and safe.

The Begumbazaar, Mehdipatnam, Tolichowki and Malakpet areas alone has more than 3 lakh shops and the shop-keepers are alleging that owing to the 'overaction' of the police, business activity has come to a standstill. Traders from other districts are not turning up to these commercial hubs.

Businessmen are confused as to how long would these checks continue and how long the business would continue to be affected. Meanwhile, due to lack of proper security measures, the police seized Big Bazar in Abids and Coupon mall in Secunderabad MG Road along with many other establishments and shops.

Many new faces with tricky behavior, unpleasant attitude people were caught by the mufti policemen and questioning them for their proper identities. Many criminal record people were picked up from their homes in Mehdipatnam, Old City and Secunderabad areas.
