Human Resources Department
HNN is building a stellar team of top journalists to redefine international reporting in the digital age. As the first exclusively web-based news organization to provide daily international news coverage, HNN will feature 20 correspondents and five regional editors in 10 states in India and abroad. We continue to accept applications.
As mainstream media have cut back or abandoned the mission to cover the world, HNN sees an exciting opportunity to provide quality news content. Web viewers who seek reliable information about global interests - economic, political, social, and cultural - from correspondents who live where they report will find this at HNN. We seek correspondents and regional editors who speak the native language and know the local history, politics, economics and culture. We are particularly interested in correspondents with multimedia skills and regional editors with some web editing experience.
We are interested in experienced correspondents who live outside the U.S. writing for American publications or outlets. We also seek retired experts and ex-pats could help our readers understand some corner of the world. Younger reporters knowing journalism or international affairs and who seek a foreign correspondence should contact us. We focus our coverage on emerging countries such as China, Indonesia, Brazil, Nigeria, Poland and many others predicted to be engines of change and growth on a global stage.
Our monthly stipend is modest, but comparable to freelancer rates paid by traditional media. When you sign on with HNN, you can count on us being here month in and month out. As mainstream media outlets have largely moved away from international freelance reports, HNN is moving in.
But we offer something more than freelance pay: for correspondents and regional editors who join our founding team, we are granting considerable shares of common stock in the company. We feel this is an important statement about our mission and our commitment to our editorial team. We want correspondents and editors alike to feel vested in the company and share in our success. We want correspondents who think like entrepreneurs and self-starters. We want people eager for a chance to report on international affairs, and who are willing to live internationally to carry out our mission. Above all, we want to build a distinguished community of journalists with a passion and a serious professional commitment to covering international news.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, send a detailed resume and a statement of interest to hydnews@gmail.com.

Mr.Ahssan, you have not paid me for my 14 articles published here on hyd-news.blogspot. Despite repeated reminders, there is no reply from you! Have some ethics and pay me!!
After repeated reminders Mr. A. H. Ahssan at HNN has sent a mail to me today admitting the delay in the payment process. He has also reaffirmed me that HNN has been paying all its freelancers. He has requested me to withdraw the above complaint for the payment process to be started. Hence I withdraw my above complaint regarding non payment. I believe that Mr. A. H. Ahssan and HNN will initiate the payment process and release my payment immediately without further delay. Thank you.
