The most apparent emotion in the tirade that broke out across various sections of population as soon as the union cabinet decision on Telangana was announced was anger at the sly way in which it was pushed.
Even as Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde denied that Telangana was an agenda item for the meeting, that a note was sneaked in at the last moment and a unanimous decision was taken on the issue seemed to have rankled most people from Seemandhra.

Why Jagan’s Jail Release Won’t Benefit Him Politically?
By Usha Revelli / Hyderabad
This is probably the best and biggest news for the YSR Congress in a whole year. For a party that is desperately clutching at straws to keep afloat, the news of the release of its leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, needless to say, evoked celebrations that are unprecedented. The overjoyed YSR Congress Party (YSRP) workers distributed sweets to everyone in sight, shouting slogans and spilling over into streets. Some were even seen hugging the policemen deployed on security duty at the court.

How Cong Plan To Gain From 'Strong' Telangana Protests?
By M H Ahssan / INN Live
A party with a famously centralised power structure has batted for federalism – not everywhere in India, not in response to all demands for statehood that are perceived as economically viable and maybe advisable, but only in Andhra Pradesh, which gives the UPA as many as 33 Congress Members of Parliament.
That this was a purely political decision is a given, coming as it does with months to go for polls – and Andhra Pradesh has Assembly polls scheduled in 2014 alongside the Parliamentary elections.

Interesting Bigg Boss 7 Show: The Bigg 'Swap' Of Tabadla!
By Niloufer Khan / Mumbai
The 'tabdla' day this week held a 'Bigg' surprise for both the Jahannum and the Jannat contestants which completely threw their planning and plotting into disarray. Bigg Boss called Kamya and Kushal to the confession room and asked them to discuss with other inmates for the names of those who performed well and for who did not from hell and heaven, for the 'tabadla'.
The hell-mates recommended Apurva's name as he was brave and sporty enough to chop his hair off and Elli's name for weak performer. On the heaven-side, the contestants took Shilpa's name for the best performer and Asif's name for the weak performer.

Exclusive: Why India Is Irked By The U.S. Immigration Bill?
By M H Ahssan / INN Live
The Indian software industry is bristling at the immigration bill passed recently by the U.S. Senate. While much of the debate among American lawmakers is concentrated on a provision that would provide a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants currently living in the U.S., Indian firms have honed in on clauses in the bill relating to non-immigrant visas.
