Your Pursuit Of Happiness Ends This Ramadan, For Sure!

INNLIVE Media Team
It is that time of the year when Muslims unite in a spirit of piety and togetherness. Prayers, fasting and abstinence from ill deeds and negativity being the means to spirituality this month, the entire Islam community looks forward to bask in a climate of religiosity.

The spirit of Ramadan is such that not only Muslims, but individuals across various other religions also enjoy the opportunity to exult in harmony, humility, benevolence, compassion and charity during this holy month. The very essence of Ramadan is in the fascinating emotion of comradeship and togetherness and familial affection displayed by all.

Meanwhile, there are many who miss this experience, this cheer and joy. With their happiness crushed under the burden of unfulfilled dreams, many such auspicious occasions are simply a different reason to hope for miracles. These are the people who have been striving hard to make their ends meet. These are the people who have very simple yet earnest answers to the question – what would you do if you get to fulfill your biggest wish?

For instance, Jeevan Nath, a Nepali national who wants to fulfill his sister’s dream. “It is my dream for her to be a teacher,” says Nath, who migrated to Dubai for a better paying job and to give his family a better life. Like him there are many others with different goals - an Indian man who longs to get his daughter operated for an illness that is keeping her ill since birth; a Bangladeshi worker in UAE who yearns to fulfill his wife’s wish to travel in Dubai’s metro facility, and many more.

To spread smiles and cheer across the globe and help the likes of Nath and others, Western Union has initiated a ‘WUWish’ programme this Ramadan.

With its WUWish initiative, Western Union will be fulfilling any of your wishes through a simple money transfer. Such as Gulab Nabi Khan, who, like Nath and Bangladeshi M.D. Habibur Rehman, received the Western Union cash award of 10,000 Dirhams and travel vouchers of the same amount. “I got the money for the operation today. I am coming back home soon,” said the much elated Khan to his wife on the phone after he received the money. Now, Western Union is inviting people to get involved in spreading the cheer. They are running a campaign to fulfill a wish for someone close to you.

How does it work?
Making someone’s dream come true is now as easy as logging on to the WUWish site and clicking Nominate. Next giving your details and the name and wish of the person concerned on the page is the only step between helping him/her fulfill their wish. The WUWish campaign that ends on July 12 will select 10 other people through a lucky draw system to make their dreams a reality too! To start nominating, visit the campaign’s official page here.

So, what would you do if you get to fulfill your biggest wish?
