On Prowl: 'Matrimonial Cheater' Duped Many Hyderabadis

A new cheater is very active these days in Hyderabad. He targets the seekers of matrimonial alliances. He associates himself with very dignified families of Hyderabad and tells them he is in search of a good match for his beautiful grandson. 

He contacts people taking their phone numbers from the advertisement of matrimonial allegiances. He invites the relatives of the girl with bio-data to his house and he gives the address of a posh locality for contact. He cleverly makes an appointment for such a time which is near Magrib prayer. Before the parties reach him, he pretends that he is very old and he wants to make an international call and since Magrib prayer time is fast approaching, he cannot go out to get his cell phone recharged. 
He gives his cell phone number to the parties and requests them to get it recharged for Rs. 1000 and promises to return the amount when they come to meet him. He calls them at a time when there are only a few minutes left for Magrib prayers. In a hurry, he takes them to the Mosque. After offering Magrib prayer, he disappears. When the parties ask him to return the money invested for recharging his cell phone, he disconnects the telephone.

In some other cases he makes haste in arranging matrimonial alliances. He asked the relatives of the girl to come with a golden ring to be offered to the boy in case matrimonial alliance is finalized. He promises that he would arrange matrimonial alliances without any dowry. When the parties reach the spot along with golden rings, he sends his son to receive that. 

The youth meets the parties and ask about the golden ring. He engages them in conversation. Meanwhile, the time for Magrib Prayer approaches. He tells them to accompany him to the Mosque. After reaching the Mosque he disappears. It seems that this is a new method of cheating people. 

These phone number from which he contacts the parties are 9912899712 and 8465844123. He has cheated many people in this way. After the publication of this new item, he might change these telephone numbers.

People are warned not to fall prey into the trap of such cheaters. On receipt of such calls, they should immediately contact the police to lodge a complaint.
