Naidu Completes 2000 km Padayatra in AP

TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu who set out on his 'Vastunnaa Meekosam' pada yatra covered 2000 kilometres by Tuesday. Naidu started this walkathon on October 2, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Gandhiji at Hindupur in Anantapur district. When he entered the Telangana region after completing his walk in the Rayalaseema region, he faced some resistance. 

Still, he completed the walk in the region, without any serious problem. Naidu who entered Krishna district after completing his yatra in Telangana is now passing through the Guntur district. 

Naidu cut a cake at the NTR Junction in Guntur and shared his joy with party cadres for crossing the 2000 km mark. Naidu covered 55 constituencies in 12 districts during the past 34 days. Speaking on the occasion, he said while he developed the state through reforms during his 9-year rule, Congress had ruined the state by resorting to outright corruption. He said during the 9-year rule, Congress had hiked power charges by Rs.32,000 crores and forced industries to close, because of power cuts. He said unemployment was increasing because of the power problem. 

Naidu also sad that prices of all the essential commodities had skyrocketed and people were driven to hardships because of price hike. He charged the Congress leaders of openly plundering the state. He has assured that he would give house sites to all the poor and have houses constructed. He gave several assurances to the people on the occasion.
