Gold Medalist Boxer 'Rishu Mittal' Forced To Work As Maid

At a time when India is steadily improving its performance in sports, a shocking image has grabbed all the eyeballs. India has to feel shame on the condition of a Gold Medalist Boxer Rishu Mittal's present condition, due to financial trouble she is working as a maid in a house.

Rishu Mittal is working as a maid to pay her school fees despite being a gold medalist boxer. She won a gold medal in state level championship in 2014 in 46 kg category and represented Haryana during national games in Gwalior in December.

Earlier to this, she won bronze medals in Bhivani and Faridabad in the year 2012 and 2013 respectively.

This daughter of Haryana is a student of Class 10th and lives with her brother who works at a shop.

In order to pay for her school fees, she works as a maid in some bungalows in the morning and then attends her school. In the evening, she practices in stadium.

According trainer Rajendra Singh, Rishu’s name has been included in the wing after she won gold at the state level competition and she will get Rs. 2000 per month from the Haryana government but this will start a year later.
