Bigg Boss 8: Gautam Gulati Is The Winner: Readers Poll

Popular reality show 'Bigg Boss 8' aka 'Halla Bol' is all set for its grand finale on January 31. And INNLIVE readers survey shows Gautam Gulati tops the contest and stands first to bags the trophy this years. Followed by Karishma Tanna and Preetam Singh.

Over the past few days, we saw five challengers (Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavna Seth, Mehek Chahal, Ajaz Khan and Sana Khan) take upon the Champion five (Karishma Tanna, Pritam Singh, Ali Quli Mirza, Gautam Gulati and Dimpy Ganguli). The controversial show was extended by a month, with Salman Khan handing over the baton of hosting to Farah Khan for Bigg Boss Halla Bol.

INNLIVE conducted an online poll asking readers to vote for their favourite contestant who should win the show. And the verdict of our readers is out. They want Gautam to win the show.  Of the 7,373 the on the poll, more than 3,736 voters, more than 50.67% of the total, want the Diya Aur Baati Hum actor to emerge as the winner of Bigg Boss Halla Bol.

Here, we have not taken into account Sambhavna Seth, the only challenger left in the game as we feel awarding challengers would be unfair to the people who have spent more than three months in isolation from the outside for the sake of the game.

Gautam Gulati, the TV actor is the most-loved character on Bigg Boss 8 and Halla bol right from the starting of the show in September. His romantic escapades with Diandra Soares and his fights with each and everyone inside the house (including Diandra) have kept the audience hooked onto the game of Bigg Boss.

Karishma Tanna has emerged as the first runner-up according to our readers: 1,589 or 21.55% of the votes. She is one of the strongest contestants in the house, our poll showed. Whether it is Gautam Gulati, or even Puneet Issar, she rarely minces her words, or backs off when attacked. Tanna has also acted stupid, adding some entertainment element to the show (her GK knowledge for instance: She didn't get the President's name right, neither does she know what R stands for in Sachin R Tendulkar). With Upen Patel's re-entry into Bigg Boss as a guest, Karishma added new charisma to the show, ditching her long-time boyfriend on national television and told Upen that she harbours feelings for him!

In the beginning, RJ Pritam seemed to be among the coolest guys in the house. And no wonder, the audience finds him entertaining enough to give him the slot of second runner-up on our poll, with more than eleven percent of votes. However, in recent weeks, Pritam has displayed that he is no pushover when it comes to being bitchy or scheming against his threats. His funny ways with Karishma and Sonali adds to his charm.

Who would have thought that a wannabe-Ajaz Khan exists in this world! Ali Quli Mirza is entertaining but he tries too hard to be one of the most active people in the house. He loves picking fights and has had his share with Upen and Gautam, among others.  And, only four percent of our readers feel he should be the winner.

A wild card entry on the show,Dimpy has ensured she was one of the crucial players in the house. Her entry marked the infamous break-up of P3G group (Puneet, Pritam, Praneet and Gautam). With Rahul Mahajan entering Bigg Boss as a challenger, her presence certainly added to the masala material. But is she in the race for the top? Our readers do not feel she is and she has received only one percent votes.

Among the five champions in the house, who do you think should win? Majority votes for Gautam Gulati as a sheer winner for Bigg Boss Halla Bol.
