Hoax Alert: Twitter Abuzz With Rumours Of Veteran Actor Dilip Kumar’s Death

Twitter and other social networking sites is on abuzz with rumours of veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s death. People took to the micro blogging site to inquire about the actor’s death while several others declared that the news is not true.

Sources told INNLIVE that the report of his death came to the fore after a filmmaker accidentally retweeted an old tweet about Dilip Kumar’s death. He has apologised for that.


Meanwhile, his wife Saira Banu has been quoted as saying that he was fine.

A string of Tweets appeared on Twitter saying Dilip Kumar passed away at Mumbai’s Lilawati Hospital. Another series of tweets followed, saying that it is plain hoax.

Dilip Kumar was seen along with wife Saira Banu at the grand wedding of Arpita Khan – sister of actor Salman Khan.

Salman reportedly came down to the lobby of the hotel to personally receive the actor.
