Shocking: 3497 Indians Living In Gulf Jails Since 10 Years

EXCLUSIVE STORY A total of 3497 Indians are leading their lives behind bars in the different gulf nations which constitute the Gulf Corporation Council. About 1400 (including 7 from Rajasthan) are captive inside jails of Saudi Arabia. 588 are inside Bandi Red C Post in Jeddah. Around 1025 are in UAE, 250 in Kuwait, 106 in Oman, 76 in Bahrain and 72 in Qatar jails.

Almost after 15 days dead body of one resident arrived in his home town of Bagad. The relatives of the deceased are suspecting foul play in his death. The deceased Suresh (46) son of Sharavan Kumar Saini was working as a watchman in a hotel in Dubai since 2002.
He had visited his home town about 3 years back. His relatives informed that Suresh was scheduled to come home on the eve on Holi but on March 7 at around 4 in evening, he was found dead in the hotel’s swimming pool. The corpse was dispatched to India after the postmortem was done on Friday.

It was learnt through an RTI filed by Subhash Chandra that around 6500 Indians are leading their lives behind bars in foreign jails. Mostly, they are inside the jails of Kuwait (1161), Saudi Arabia (1691), and United Arab Emirates (1012).

The response to the RTI field with the Foreign Ministry says that 6569 Indians are inside jails of 112 countries.
