Bigg Boss-7 Winner 'Gauhar Khan' Makes A 'Record' History

Supermodel-actress Gauahar Khan was declared the winner of 'Big Boss 7Saath'. The show which began in October 2014 had initially 14 contestants locked inside the house which was divided into two sections- Heaven and Hell which was later into one big house.

As the winner of the show, Gauahar Khan won Rs 50 lakh and a trophy in a star studded finale which saw some grand performances by the former housemates of the show.

Superseding all the contestants, Bollywood actress Gauhar Khan has emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss-7. Gauhar Khan’s win has not come as a shocker for anyone as she was always seen as one of the strongest contestants on the show. INN Live predicted and reported first to declare Gauhar Khan the winner of Bigg Boss-7. INN Live made it clear with its readers survey about the winning predictions.

Gauhar Khan emerged as a strongest contender in the reality show with an impressive attitude, determination and strong will-power. She made her presence with her presence of mind and quality appearances. 

Bigg Boss-7 winner Gauhar Khan awarded a golden trophy and a booty of 50 thousand rupees, apart from several film offers and product endorsements. She is going to sign a film with YRF Films soon. Karan Johar too offered a leading role to her in his next multi-starrer film in 2014. 

The supermodel's stint inside the house has been quite dramatic. Known to speak her mind and standing by what she thinks is right, Gauahar had voluntarily made an exit from the show when her boyfriend Kushal Tandon was ousted from the house. Khan made a comeback two days later eventually.

Earlier, Wrestler Sangram Singh was the first finalist to be evicted followed by Ajaz Khan. Tanisha Mukherji was adjudged as the first runner up.

Talking to INN Live, Gauhar Khan said, "I thank family for support. I am big fan of the show. I did not expect to come so far...till the finale", who had won critical acclaim for her role in the film 'Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year' (2009).


Before the winner was announced, Gauhar's mother Razia Zafar Khan said on the stage, "Apni bacchchi par naaz hai mujhe. Woh badi samajhdaari aur sachchai se aage badi hai".

Tanishaa's mother Tanuja who was also present on the occassion, she said, "Main roz dekhti thi show. Jab woh roti thi to main bhi roti thi."

Before the winner was announced Tauja had said, " I am very proud of my daughter. According to me the way she has conducted herself, she has won in my eyes."

Interestingly host Salman Khan said Gauhar and Tanishaa both always stood opposite each other throughout the show. They almost become captains of two rival groups within the house.

Salman joked and said, "And I don't have to tell you who were the vice captain of the two rival groups in the house.

Gauhar, 32, is not new to the world of reality shows having participated in shows like 'Khan Sisters' and 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. Tanishaa was the second runner up.

Gauhar proved to be the toughest contestant to beat during any task, Ajaz has been an entertainer to the audience throughout his stay. Tanishaa has been a loyal friend, and Sangram's positive nature was loved by the audience.

The grand finale was held at Lonavala, a hill station near Mumbai, where the "Bigg Boss" house was put up.

This is the fourth consecutive season that a woman has been crowned the winner after Shweta Tiwari, Juhi Parmaar and Urvashi Dholakia winning the fourth, fifth and sixth seasons respectively.

The seventh season of the popular reality show went on air on September 15 on Colors. It started with 14 celebrities, and later, five additional celebrities made wild card entries at different points during its run.
