Exactly two years to this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in having just led the Bharatiya Janata Party to the first single-party Parliamentary majority since 1984. The scale of the victory and the promises that led to it, that the Good Times would be coming, meant expectations for the government were sky high. The fact that they were following a United Progressive Alliance government that had spent its last two years bumbling around after the revelation of major corruption scandals only increased the anticipation for a party that would usher in real development, as it repeatedly promised.

New technology platforms have pushed more UAE residents to become entrepreneurs, revealed a study by social networking website LinkedIn.

Digital platforms have helped residents to overcome traditional barriers that come with founding companies, making the process easier and more accessible.
The study also showed that entrepreneurship is the fastest-growing job year-on-year in the UAE as the country recorded the highest percentage of LinkedIn members who are entrepreneurs.

JNTUH 'Evaluation Process' Questioned

Engineering students of colleges affiliated to Jawharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad have sought changes in the exam evaluation system, claiming that currently professors spend hardly a few minutes to correct each paper.

Several complaints have been registered in the past about lapses in the evaluation process. Recently, members of the JNTU-H Students' Joint Action Committee (JNTU-HSJAC) shot off a letter to varsity authorities highlighting the plight of thousands of students.
