Kapus In Andhra Are Agitating For Reservations Can Their Leaders Really Help Them?

By SHALINI REDDY | INNLIVE

SPECIAL REPORT Unlike the Patel agitation in Gujarat, the projected leaders of Kapus in Andhra are spent forces who have already betrayed their cause years ago.

Eerily resembling the Patel agitation for Backward Class (BC) status in Gujarat, a massive stir has been created with the same demand by the Kapus in Andhra Pradesh. Though there are similarities between the two demands, the socio-political differences are aplenty. While Patels are well-entrenched in the political class and have independently led the state of Gujarat, for the Kapus, the political throne in Andhra has remained out of reach.

Why Leadership-Development Programs Often Fails?

By M H AHSSAN | INNLIVE

Side stepping four common mistakes can help companies develop stronger and more capable leaders, save time and money, and boost morale.

For years, organizations have lavished time and money on improving the capabilities of managers and on nurturing new leaders. US companies alone spend almost $14 billion annually on leadership development. Colleges and universities offer hundreds of degree courses on leadership, and the cost of customized leadership-development offerings from a top business school can reach $150,000 a person.

Emerging Multinationals: The Talent War’s Latest Contenders

By Dr. SHELLY AHMED | INNLIVE

The Dutch multinational Philips made a deal with the Zambian government a few years ago to provide medical equipment and technical expertise to improve Zambia’s hospitals. But as the project went forward, it became clear that there were not enough local radiologists, nurses, or other health care personnel with the skills to operate the new equipment.

Philips eventually provided the needed training, according to a report from the World Economic Forum Council on Emerging Multinationals.

‘Millennials On Steroids’: Is Your Brand Ready For Generation-Z?

By M H AHSSAN | INNLIVE

It is a generational rite: complaining about “kids these days” and their habits and proclivities, grousing about the world they’re growing up in, and romanticizing generations past who were “perfect in every way.” Parents in the 1960s were horrified by their children’s risqué Elvis Presley-style dance moves and loud rock n’ roll (as portrayed in the musical, Bye Bye Birdie). When the baby boomers grew up, they derided Generation X as the MTV Generation, a bunch of lazy disaffected slackers.

It`s sadly but as we are getting older some evil forces conspire and work against us and we are losing our weight more difficult.

All those years of walking up and down on buildings, playing sports and general moving are making our joints and muscles less cooperative. They are stiffer, they hurt more and make exercising unpleasant.

Special Report: Indian Doctors Are Shamelessly Lying On Women To Perform Unwarranted Hysterectomies

By LIKHA VEER | INNLIVE

In Chapla Naik, a tiny village in Karnataka’s Kalaburgi district close to the state border with Telangana, two women died this year.

Arati (name changed) died of pancreatic cancer. Sumana bai (name changed) died of sepsis in her abdomen. What the two women had in common with each other—and with many other women in the village—is that they were aged less than 30, and they had recently undergone hysterectomies.

The Immigration Jeopardy: Separating Fact From Fiction

By SARAH WILLIAMS | INNLIVE

The immigrants are coming, and several Republicans vying for the presidential nomination are arguing that the U.S. may be in jeopardy. We should repel immigrants by building walls along the Canadian or Mexican borders, some suggest. If elected, New Jersey governor Chris Christie promises to track immigrants the same way FedEx tracks packages. We must expel those already here through mass deportations, says Donald Trump. “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” Trump said recently about Mexican immigrants.
