Exposed Rahul: A Watershed Moment In Indian Politics?

By M H Ahssan / INN Live

Barely two days before his outburst against the UPA government’s ordinance to counter a Supreme Court order disqualifying MPs and MLAs convicted in a criminal case, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi‘s body language had become a talking point among Pune’s editors and senior journalists.

Rather unusually, Gandhi had held a 90-minutue long informal exchange with a select group of journalists at the Balewadi stadium in Pune. This was the second leg of his Maharashtra tour and Gandhi took everyone by surprise, especially the top editors in Delhi, who later came to know that he had spoken extensively and informally on a range of subjects.

CM Kiran Reddy Opens 'Direct Revolt' Against Telangana?

By M H Ahssan / INN Live

The Congress high command in New Delhi has one more headache to handle. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is openly questioning the Congress Working Committee (CWC) decision to divide the state. Reddy has been expressing his displeasure over the bifurcation of the state since the CWC decided to create a separate state of Telangana, two months ago.

The Seemandhra region is still in turmoil. All government offices have been shut. Schools and Colleges remain closed. The pro-Telangana leaders allege that the chief minister himself is stoking unrest by extending all kinds of help to anti-Telangana agitators.

The nervous Centre is yet to send a Cabinet note formally initiating the process of the creation of a new state. Insiders say the high command is worried and trying to buy some more time.

The peculiar predicament of being Vasundhara Raje — who is all set to regain power in Rajasthan. The road to Sojat smells of fresh rain. But the dhaba on the roadside has stopped making the next batch of dal vadas. Everyone in this tiny, garbage-infested town in southern Rajasthan is waiting for Vasundhara Raje’s bus to arrive.

It doesn’t matter if they are supporters of the BJP or the Congress; a sighting is what they are after. And it comes packed with drama. A hatch opens up at the top and Raje rises phoenix-like on a pedestal, towering over the crowd like a modern-day queen; as she asks an ecstatic crowd: “What are your main concerns? Do you get enough drinking water?” The crowd claps and screams as she waves once again before the pedestal is lowered and she disappears from view.

By Niloufer Khan / INN Live

The media is abuzz with the reports of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan making a comeback to films with 'Happy Anniversary'. It is also reported that Abhishek Bachchan is going to play the male lead in the film, but will Aishwarya be able to regain the long lost top position with this film? The entertainment desk of INN voiced diverse opinions on the subject, thus we decided to compile all the opinions in a logical way.

She is most welcome
Rohit Vats: Aishwarya's last film before the sabbatical was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Guzaarish', for which she received accolades at several award ceremonies. 'Enthiran' had also come in the same year, which means she was one of the best box-office baits at that time. She has remained in the public view throughout her pregnancy, so the issue of her being forgotten is also out of the frame.
