Salman khan is in news again, for all the wrong reasons. In a huge setback to the Bollywood actor, the Mumbai Sessions Court rejected his review petition in the 2002 hit-and-run case. The actor will now be tried under Section 304, of IPC, for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. If convicted, Salman Khan may face upto ten years in jail. However, the actor is no stranger to being in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

A group of 50 Dehradun residents are currently stranded in Hyderabad after being taken away by these politicians who had gone to Uttarakhand for rescue works.

The question being asked yesterday was “why is the rupee falling against the dollar”. The answer is very simple. The demand for American dollars was more than that of the Indian rupee leading to the rupee rapidly losing value against the dollar.

This situation is likely to continue in the days to come with the demand for dollars in India being more than their supply. And this will have a huge impact on the dollar-rupee exchange rate, which crossed  60 rupees to a dollar for the first time yesterday.

In their new book, Happy Money: The Science of Smarter Spending (Simon & Schuster), Elizabeth Dunn and Michael Norton (professors at the University of British Columbia and Harvard Business School, respectively), offer five key principles to help us get more happiness out of the money we spend — principles which also help companies create happier employees and customers.

Most people know they can benefit from expert help to make more money. But oddly enough, they're quite sure they already know how to spend their money to reap the most happiness. As a result, they follow their intuitions, using their money to buy things they think will make them happy, from televisions to cars to houses.

What's the problem with this approach? A decade of research demonstrates that people's intuitions about how to turn money into happiness are misguided at best and dead-wrong at worst.
