Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may not yet have decided to get married, but his fans can now enjoy a wedding song in anticipation of the eagerly-awaited event.
Bihar-based singer Nitish Chandra got a music video of his song, “Bhaiya ki shaadi hai, jhumenge naachenge (We will make merry at our brother’s wedding)” especially composed for Salman’s marriage, released by veteran actor and senior BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha in Patna.
Chandra, who has also written and composed the foot-tapping number, said that he made the song especially for the wedding of Salman, who has been the most eligible bachelor in the country for quite some time.
“I had kept the song ready and had been waiting for Salman’s wedding before releasing my song but that did not happen,” he said.
“I, therefore, have decided to release it now for his fans. My song is literally waiting for Salman’s marriage. Hope it will make him take the plunge into matrimony.”
Chandra, who is a television journalist with a private channel, said that he had observed how Salman’s wedding had become a national obsession over the years.
“He is the biggest star of Bollywood. His fans are eagerly waiting for his marriage,” he said.
“I have composed this celebratory song to reflect the sentiments of his admirers.
Chandra said he was thankful to Shatrughan Sinha for releasing his song.
