This is a 'friday release' for Salman Khan who gets bail in high court and barred the sessions court verdict as it kept suspended till the court will find the solutions till decided by the arguments.
In a relief to actor Salman Khan, the Bombay High Court granted bail to the actor and suspended his five-years sentence in 2002-hit-and-run case.
Actor will first have to go to trial court to execute fresh bail bond, as his interim bail ends today.
The actor was convicted and sentenced to five years' rigorous imprisonment by the session court.
He was charged for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, besides penal provisions under Motor Vehicles Act and other laws.
Delivering the verdict in the case that dragged on for over 12 years, sessions court judge DW Deshpande said "all charges" against the actor have been proved, which included the stringent charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, besides various other offences, including rash and negligent driving and driving under influence of liquor.
