SPONSORED: The new YOGA 3 Pro is an ultra slim convertible PC and, according to Lenovo is designed to "uniquely address users' desires for an extremely stylish device, best-in-breed performance capabilities and the hardware and software adaptability they crave." I believe the YOGA 3 Pro, does exactly this.

Featuring an Intel Core M processor, the 13-inch laptop is the first consumer PC with the Core M CPU.
The new Intel Core M chip allows the 3 Pro to be 17% thinner than its predecessor's frame at just 12.8 mm thin and 14% lighter at 1.19kg meaning that the device is portable and perfect for travelling with. It also is made with durable Gorilla Glass. I personally felt that it was very sturdy and did not worry about breaking it when travelling.

It may sounds strange but I think its best feature and what sets the YOGA 3 Pro apart from any other 2-in-1 is its iconic 360-degree fold-back watchband hinge design. Constructed of more than 800 individual pieces of steel and aluminium and with six focus points, the hinge allows the device to be easily used in four different modes: laptop mode, stand mode, tablet mode and tent mode.

I loved the choice of being able to do all four, it is very comfortable to use for which ever task you are doing, wherever or however you are sitting or standing. I found that I move about more than I realised but changing modes was so simple, and again the device felt safe and strong while still being extremely flexible.

The device also features intuitive software that adapts your personal preferences as you use it in its different modes. Harmony software means that for example, when reading an e-book, it will automatically change the brightness and colour temperature according to the environment lighting.

Harmony also recommends which apps other users find useful and provides shortcuts to the apps used most frequently in each mode. The keyboard is also inactive when in tablet mode, which means no accidental typing with your thighs.

The attractive device features a QHD+ 3200x1800 touchscreen display which means the screen is bright and clear and looks amazing.

Starting at AED 6,999, however the YOGA 3 Pro is a little bit pricey as there are still aspects which could be improved.

While 7.2 hours battery life is good, it still lags behind the competition and for web browsers, streaming video and music and working on office documents, the Yoga 3 Pro felt fast enough, but if you are looking for more advanced tasks such as gaming or HD video editing, then they would be better served by a more powerful PC.
