Behind The Wire: A 'Historic Tour' Of 'Guantanamo Prison'

Guantanamo Bay: The prison camp where captured enemies of the US War on Terror are held. Gulf News explored Behind the Wire. Here's what found in the investigation.

Gulf News is the first newspaper in the Middle East to be able to report from the US prisons in Guantanamo Bay. It details the deserted Camp X-Ray, where men in orange jumpsuits were held after being picked up as ‘enemy combatants’ in 2002; and records the first time US officials acknowledge publicly that Camp VII exists.  It’s the top-secret prison where 15 of the most-valued and most-tortured detainees are kept. And it details the comfortable lives lived by the military on the base where detainees are force-fed twice daily.
