It has been proved statically the skies got very dangerous this year. The three airline crashes - Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, TransAsia Airways Flight 222 and Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 – created major headlines globally. However, those who thought the worst is over were highly mistaken.
As per the latest news reports, an AirAsia flight from Indonesia's Surabaya to Singapore lost contact with air traffic control on Sunday. The Airbus 320-200 had 155 passengers and crew on board as per Indonesian Transport officials.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH17/MAS17) was a scheduled international passenger flight en route Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. It crashed on 17 July 2014, having been shot down, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board.The flight lost contact about 50 km from the Ukraine–Russia border and crashed near Torez in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, 40 km from the border,over territory controlled by pro-Russian separatists.
Unexplained disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370/MAS370) was a scheduled international passenger flight that disappeared on Saturday, 8 March 2014, en route Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia to Beijing Capital International Airport, People's Republic of China.
Flight 370 last made voice contact with air traffic control at 01:19 MYT (17:19 UTC, 7 March) when it was over the South China Sea, less than an hour after takeoff.
Crash of TransAsia Airways Flight 222
TransAsia Airways Flight 222 (GE222/TNA222) was a scheduled domestic passenger flight that crashed into buildings due to bad weather at Magong Airport, Penghu Island, Taiwan, on 23 July 2014.
The flight was travelling from Kaohsiung International Airport with 54 passengers and four crew members on board; only 10 survived.
Air Algerie Flight 5017 crash
Air Algérie Flight 5017 (AH5017/DAH5017) was a scheduled international passenger flight en route Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, to Algiers, Algeria, which crashed in Mali, near Gossi, on 24 July 2014.
There were 110 passengers and 6 crew on board. The flight disappeared from radar about fifty minutes after take-off leaving everyone dead.
AirAsia Flight QZ 8501
An AirAsia flight from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore lost contact with air traffic control on 28 December, as per Transport Ministry official of Indonesia.Transport Ministry official Hadi Mustofa said the aircraft, flight number QZ 8501, lost contact with the Jakarta air traffic control tower at 6:17 a.m local time. (2317 GMT).
The flight was supposed to reach Singapore at 8:30 a.m. Singapore time (0030 GMT).Quite surprisingly, the flight requested for an unusual route before it lost contact with ground authorities.
