Ace TV Actor Ali Asgar Aka 'Dadi of Comedy Nights' Injured Severely On Set Of Kapil Sharma’s Show Shooting

Actor Ali Asgar, who’s become a household name as Dadi of Comedy Nights With Kapil, had an accident on the sets of the weekly show. The actor while shooting for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’s special episode lost his grip and injured himself.

Explaining the fiasco, Ali has been quoted by a publication saying that while shooting a fight sequence with Kiku Sharda’s character he slipped near Najvot Singh Sidhu’s chair and got his neck and shoulder hurt.

While a numb Ali couldn't move an inch of his body, the crew arrived with a first aid kit and after applying ointments, escorted him off the sets.


The entire incident took place in front of the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge team that comprised Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Farida Jalal, Mandira Bedi among others.

An injured Ali has been asked for a complete bed rest for at least a week by the doctors. However due to his packed schedule, the actor continues to shoot with the help of painkiller injections.
