Maruti has announced cash benefits of up to INR 55,000 on its small car Alto 800 and the blue eyed boy Wagon R. The powerful version of Alto i.e. K10 would attract customers with cash benefits of up to INR 35,000. These cars have been specifically chosen to target the middle class consumers who desire to purchase a new car or exchange their old one for a new model.
Maruti Suzuki has recently launched its revamped model of Alto K10, so its an excellent opportunity for the first time buyers to grab this car with this offer. The new K10 model gets a 1.0 litre 3-cylinder engine that produces an output of 67.1bhp and maximum torque of 90Nm. The car now offers a mileage of 24.07kmph. The new model also comes with an option of Automatic Manual Transmission popularly known as AMT.
This is the only car in its segment offering AMT which makes it a choicest vehicle among its peers. The K10 gets smart exteriors with swept back headlamps, fog lights in the front, sleek chrome grille and defogger at the rear. The interiors of K10 have gone high tech with power windows, power steering, automatic adjustable outside mirrors, central locking system, updated audio system and air conditioning.
On the other hand, priced in the range of INR 2.4 lac-3.5 lac, Alto 800 is the company’s cheapest offering alongside with this alluring cash benefit. With leaf shaped headlights and trapezoidal grille at the front, it has all the character needed in an entry level car. A three spoke steering wheel with an instrument cluster at the dashboard, nicely built air conditioner vents and many utility compartments, have bettered the interiors as compared to its previous version.
The boot space is decent enough as is the knee room. The car comes with a 3 cylinder 796cc engine with 47.5bhp power output and 69Nm of torque. It comes mated to five speed manual transmission. The ride quality of this refurbished Alto 800 is much improved with newly carved 12 inch steel wheels and good suspension set-up.
