SATIRE Not satisfied with allocating two Lok Sabha seats to Modi, BJP is now looking to make it even safer for him. Unconfirmed sources have confirmed that Modi is all set to be nominated for Rajya Sabha seat by BJP. This will further increase the possibility of him landing in the parliament.
“With Kejriwal blazing all guns in Varanasi and Advani creating all sort of troubles in Gujarat we can never be sure. After all Modi ji is our PM candidate and we cannot take any risk with him,” told BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar.
Jairam Ramesh was also quick to respond, “I already told you that Modi will be finished if he loses, but Rahul will be around. BJP has finally realized what I meant. That’s why they are scared now.”
Salman Khurshid too attacked Modi by saying that even a nursery kid does not get 3 attempts to clear his exams.
“Modee is scared of Kejariwal and trying to find saif ceats. But he will not leave him. Now Kejriwall ji will also fight from Rajya Sabha,” Ashutosh from AAP declared on Twitter.
Nirmala Sitaraman, a BJP spokesperson impulsively tried to divert the issue by pointing towards Manmohan Singh. “Let me categorically tell you that Manmohan Singh lost Lok Sabha election from South Delhi but got into the upper house in 1999 and later became PM in 2004,” said visibly upset Sitaraman.
After further poking, she said, “What’s wrong with people? Even Sachin Tendulkar is a Rajya Sabha MP!”
Shocked writer asked how Tendulkar’s example is relevant. She said, “Mr Modi is Tendulkar of politics. Just like Tendulkar’s batting records, Mr Modi’s Gujarat development is also unbelievable. Sachin Tendulkar was criticized whenever he failed to score a century, Modi is criticized if Gujarat doesn’t top every development index.”
While this move has further pissed off LK Advani and Sushma Swaraj, Modi supporters inside BJP are ecstatic. “Now I realized what Ghar Ghar Modi means. Modi in lower house as well as Modi in upper house,” tweeted a Modi supporter. His tweet was retweeted more than 272 times by ‘RT activists’ from NGO named APCO.
One insider source revealed that Rajnath Singh has asked Modi to file nomination as an independent candidate against Advani in Gandhinagar. The ease with which Modi ji has defeated Advani ji on every internal matter, Gandhinagar can be the safest seat for him.
