Brushing aside speculations of him adopting Islam during his recent visit to Pakistan, prominent Sufi singer from Punjab, Hansraj Hans clarified that he hasn’t converted to Muslim religion.
Adding further he said humanity is his religion and being born as a Sufi artist he respects all religions equally.
The news portals ‘Pakistan Affairs’ and ‘U News TV’ had allegedly claimed that Hans has adopted Islam in Lahore, followed by Indian media coverage.
While talking to INNLIVE Hansraj said that he is on a mission to spread peace and harmony across the world.
On being asked about the reason behind his latest visit to Pakistan, the legendary singer said that he was called for a charity show in Lahore organized by an NGO Aurat Foundation.
Earlier, his elder son Navraj Hans updated on his Facebook wall that news of his father adopting Islam are false and mere rumors. And he clarified that he or his father doesn't have any intentions to adopt Islam in future.
