Shocking: Student Focibly Set Fire In Nalgonda, Critical

A 21-year-old B-Tech final year student of a private engineering college in Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh, was allegedly set afire by her married lover. 

According to One Town police, the girl Talari Aruna a native of Kurampalli village of Kangal mandal was allegedly having an affair with Nakerkanti Saidulu, a former Deputy Sarpanch of Dhareshpuram village of Kanagal mandal.

The accused used to meet the girl at his finance office in the town quite often. As usual, the girl came to the office here on Tuesday afternoon. An argument reportedly arose between them.

The girl who is battling for life at Nalgonda government hospital, told the police that the accused then doused her with kerosene and set her afire. She further revealed that Saidulu and his friends admitted her in the hospital and left the premises. 

The accused who is married with two children, is at large.

A case has been registered. Meanwhile, leaders of all political parties and women organisations staged a rasta roko in front of the hospital seeking justice to the girl’s family.

The doctors attending the victim told INN Live, that she suffered more than 90 per cent of burns and the chances of her survival appeared bleak.
