Salman Khan isn't exactly the bastion of morality, but on the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss, he dons his peacekeeper-cum-entertainer avatar extremely well (much like in Dabangg, minus the peace). This week, in his fight for women empowerment, he did the next best thing to throwing Arman Kohli out of the Bigg Boss house. He chided Kushal Tandon for his gross disrespect to veteran sister-of-renowned-actress Tanisha.
In a task where a section of inmates were to last as long as possible in a box assigned to each of them, while the others did their best to get them out, Tanisha and Gauhar had a largely inaudible tiff.
Gauhar, who eventually won the box challenge, had a verbal duel with Tanisha, while the former was on the outside and the latter within the enclosure. As this calamity hit, self-proclaimed superhero Kushal Tandon came to rescue his damsel in distress by dumping garbage into Tanisha's box while she was still inside and exclaiming things like, "Adha kachra bahar hai aur adha kachra andar." For those who share his IQ, he was basically referring to Tanisha as trash.
Once Tanisha came out of the box, Tandon went from superhero to soppy drama queen in a matter of seconds, outraged at the brutal attack on him in the form of a gentle shove from the former. Once this life threat was temporarily averted as Tanisha went to the washroom, Tandon fired away with insults like "36-year-old-aunty" and jokes about her being unsuccessful and fat. In keeping with this unnecessary and childish repartee, Tanisha came out and pushed him again, pretending like it was a mistake.
Unfortunately, it didn't end here. Tandon, known best for his ability to attend a gym, was severely injured by Tanisha's two tender nudges, and questioned the allowance of violence in the Bigg Boss House. He threatened to leave if the matter was not looked into. As he stacked up chairs and finally made it to the top of the wall lined with barbed wire, Bigg Boss summoned his esteemed presence back in the house and he, along with Tanisha was nominated for a vote-out.
In this tirade-for-TRPs, Salman Khan stepped in to tell Tandon, that he must make things right and disrespect for women will not do in the Bigg Boss House (one of the reasons, he himself probably partakes only from the outside).
