'Karwa Chaut Will 'Not Work For Me': Kareena Kapoor Khan

By Niloufer Khan / Mumbai

Kareena Kapoor, who got married to Saif Ali Khan last year, says she doesn’t have to starve on Karwa Chauth, which is Tuesday, to prove her love for her husband. “While all women will be starving, I will be eating. I don’t have to starve to prove my love,” Kareena told reporters at the launch of Malabar gold and diamond online shopping store. She suggested: “Have sweets, have everything. Why to starve?” On Karwa Chauth women keep a fast for the well being of their husbands. When asked if she does not believe in it, she said: “I can’t live without food. I am a Kapoor then Khan.”
