Fresh confirmed reports suggest that the Congress High Command is thinking of beginning the process of creating the new 'Telangana state' on the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birthday and complete it by the birthday of the AICC supremo Sonia Gandhi. According to these reports, a resolution favouring the creation of Telangana would be made in the CWC meeting and a bill would be introduced in the Parliament. It would be debated and adopted in the Parliament on August 2, the birthday of Rajiv Gandhi. Meanwhile, the bill would be sent to the AP Assembly and the state legislature would be asked only to debate it. Telangana Congress leaders hope that the process of creating the state would be completed soon and the creation of two states would be on December 9, the birthday of Sonia Gandhi. It is being said that the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh might mention about the creation of the new state in his Independence Day speech on August 15.
