According to the Dr RK Bansal, a physician who was examined the girl, the case was one of the worst they had ever seen. The doctor said that when the girl was brought in, “she was scared, not fully conscious. “Foreign objects like candle and oil bottle were found in her body. We can tell about her condition only after 24 to 48 hours of observation. As of now her condition is critical,” RK Bansal, physician, Swami Dayanand Hospital where the girl is currently treated told CJ of INN.
The doctor’s said there were superficial injuries on lips cheeks, chest wall. Her neck had bruises as though someone tried to strangle her.”
The girl’s family has blamed the Delhi Police for the incident. The girl went missing on 15 April and according to the girl’s family the police had refused to file a FIR. What is shocking is that the girl was found in the same building where her family live.
A neighbour, who is believed to be responsible for the horrific crime, is on the run at present. He stayed nearby as a tenant of the girl’s family but the police are claiming that they have the suspect’s father in detention. The Police say they have sent a search team across NCR region to find the suspect.
According to CJ of INN, after the girl was found, the police instead of pressing for a physical examination said that the parents should take the girl home and help her recover.
Demanding justice from the government, the mother of the girl said, “She went out to play two days back when she was kidnapped. The man then locked her up in his room and raped her. I want justice from the government.”
Meanwhile Mamata Sharma, NCW Chief, while condoning the act and quick to blame Delhi Police, said that she herself will visit the child only tomorrow because today’s a holiday.
The parents want girl moved to another hospital like AIIMS as Dayanand Hospital is an municipal Hospital and not a specialty hospital.
