LIFE IS AN 'UNSOLVED MYSTRY', NOT A PROBLEM

By Vasantha Vaikunth (Guest Writer)

Is life been a serious affair and no fun and celebration? Modern man thinks of laughter, drink, food, dance and techno music as celebration; he goes on a high and when the so called fun ends, he crashes down like a deflated balloon. Man starts condemning life in general as his sense of happiness involves conditions. The work place becomes stressful; he does not understand the human relationships and personality differences as he is
self centred.
In today s world work, marriage, children, education, living life have become stressful. No human being can live happily in isolation, those around us have to be prosperous and loved.  The whole life becomes a celebration if we put aside false ideas of life and come to terms with reality. The journey begins from one s self; we have to be fulfilled. Acceptance of our lives gives contentment. The sharing can happen only if one is complete in one s self.

Human life is going through a process of change; it is futile to stick to the fictitious images that one creates for one self. The parents give a name, signature and give  an identity to the child; then the society tells him what to do and what he should be. He lives most of his life with the identity given by the crowd; how can he be happy from within? How can he enjoy what he does, be it work, marriage, love or relationship? Fiction needs nourishment so we have to do something to reach the heights of our ego.

It is not a mere coincidence that celebrities like poets, actors, political leaders, CEOs, business leaders are egoistic. They all forget their real goal of being happy and the enjoyment of life; everyone is busy living a life set by the society. The downfall of man starts when he loses the sight of his goal and falls in to the trap of arrogance.

He finds life unbearable, full of problems as if he is caught in a trap; life is full of mystery for one who does not know his direction to the goal. Understand your freedom, different levels of your mind, similarities and differences. Huge nations and empires have fallen due to greed and a feeling all mighty; people with money and power have gone in to dust along with the rolling time.

Self created problems brings insanity and the false ego becomes real for us. If by chance we encounter the real us, we may not recognize ourselves. Such is the story of mankind. Mediocrity has seeped in to the world, education in paper cannot make us mature and wise; one needs the knowledge of the world and how to solve the mysterious links one has
with others.

People often talk about giving back to the society after achievement in life; they don't realize that success is different from fulfilment. When we feel inadequate and challenged, how can we contribute anything valuable to the society? Observation, experience and effort can make you grow from within and make you feel complete. Your whole energy is so fulfilled and contented that it needs nothing. Desire is always out of incompletion.

There are two categories of people in the world—the beggars and the emperors. Man constantly begs for something out of life to fulfil his own desires; his fictitious life motivates him to do it. Those who are happy, self realized, peaceful are the real emperors; they are givers, natural and contented. They find the world beautiful, friendly, and compassionate as they have solved the mystery of life and living. They don't worry about the labels of the community, religion or any nation. They are truly liberated and understand the joy of living.
