Unless there is a last-minute compromise, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav are likely to head for the exit.
It is tempting to interpret the squabbling in the Aam Aadmi Party as a clash of ideas, a manifestation of the battle the purists are waging against the pragmatists. But in politics, even in its most idealistic expression, ideas often are a cloak that conceals the vaulting ambitions of its practitioners, their inherent desire to impose their will on others.

Ashutosh Confirms 'Clash' As Kejriwal, Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan Fight It Out: Is AAP Imploding Again?
While the Aam Aadmi Party has shrugged off talks of a rift despite recent reports, letters from its internal Lokpal, founder member Prashant Bhushan and its Delhi secretary Dilip Pandey are clear signs of an escalating internal row which is polarising the party.
The latest in the battle of the letters is the leaked missive by the Delhi secretary of the party Dilip Pandey, accessed by NDTV, in which he accuses Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan and his father Shanti Bhushan of attempting to remove Arvind Kejriwal as the party's national convenor, and replace him with Yadav.

Exclusive: Is Yogendra Yadav Exit From Aam Aadmi Party?
This may well be the case, according to reliable sources, a heated meeting culminated in the National Executive proposing to give Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal the right to reconstitute the party's Political Affairs Committee that could in turn see Yadav being removed from it.
The National Executive meeting had reportedly seen "a heated exchange between a section of the national executive and Yadav, with his role in the run-up to the Delhi elections coming under criticism".

Focus: Will 'Aam Aadmi Party' Deliver The True 'Swaraj'?
The initial euphoria over its emphatic electoral win over, the focus is now on realities within which the AAP will have to deliver on its promises. INNLIVE explores if the party can realise its vision of ‘swaraj,’ living up to the true ideals of decentralisation.
Ever since the AAP's win in Delhi, there have been a spate of articles on right wing websites, questioning the rationale of issues that form the core of the AAP's political ideologies.

Kejriwal, Anna Hazare, Shiv Sena And Akali Dal: BJP Blinks On Land Acquisition Bill As Allies Become Opponents
Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have urged the party's MPs to bust the 'myths' surrounding the amendments to the Land Acquisition Bill and defend it aggressively in Parliament, but in the face of renewed opposition from allies like the Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akali Dal, the BJP has taken the first step at modifying the legislation to incorporate farmers' suggestions in it.
On Tuesday, before a day of chaos in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over the bill, the Prime Minister had urged the party's MPs to defend the law saying that the party would never act against the interests of the country's farmers.

'Modi Sarkar's Land Act Is A Grave Travesty': Anna Hazare
If Jan Lokpal was the rallying point for anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare’s epic agitation against the Congress and the UPA, the test of BJP government’s vulnerability to his wrath will be its amendment to the Land Acquisition Act.
It remains to be seen if Anna will be able to mobilise the same kind of crowds as he did for his Lokpal agitation because corruption was a sentiment that different classes of people in Delhi and across urban India shared with him. Land acquisition might be alien to them and hence may not motivate them to pour into the streets.

Will Anna Hazare 2.0 Give Us Our Next Arvind Kejriwal?
Anna has announced a two-day token agitation on February 23 and 24 against the recently amended land acquisition act by the Centre. Will this give birth to a new political movement?
The rise of the Aam Aadmi Party within just two years of its formation is truly remarkable. From winning an impressive 28 seats in the 2013 Delhi election, then getting decimated in the Lok Sabha elections and finally winning record 67 seats in the recent Delhi elections, the AAP has had a rollercoaster ride throughout its existence.

A Dynamic More Mature And Pragmatic Kejriwal Found?
The first fallout of the Aam Admi Party's (AAP) spectacular victory in Delhi will be a renewed focus on sleaze in public life, as has been borne out by Arvind Kejriwal's commitment to make Delhi India's first corruption-free state in his inaugural address after being sworn in as chief minister for a second time.
This was the issue which was the mainstay of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement of which the present-day AAP was a part and which built up Kejriwal's reputation as a crusader against bribery and underhand deals.

Kejriwal's Speech Is A Mix Of Symbolism And Pragmatism
A mix of symbolism and pragmatic straight talk marked the post swearing in address of Arvind Kejriwal at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. As the anti-corruption crusader took oath for the second time at the same venue, which hosts the symbolic destruction of ego and arrogance every Dussehra with the burning of the effigy of king Ravana at the hands of Lord Rama every year, he reminded his party colleagues and followers to keep away from both human weaknesses.
Why 'Aam Aadmi Party' Is More Like A 'Tech Start-Up'?
Arvind Kejriwal's party has the kernel of a new thought so essential for a disruptive idea: changing the way a business is done.
A conversation, factual or embellished, with a taxi driver has been the oldest ploy in the journalist's book. Sometimes it sparks new ideas, sometimes it helps to substantiate your hypothesis, and occasionally it is a farcical ploy to put in an anonymous mouth a too-clever one-liner you'd rather not utter yourself, but say nevertheless.

Kejriwal's Beloved' Jan LokPal Bill' Is Headed For Oblivion
Arvind Kejriwal quit the last time round he was Delhi chief minister because the BJP and Congress combined in the state assembly to block his attempt to pass a Jan Lokpal Bill.
Given he literally has no opposition this time round, the Delhi chief minister should have no problem passing the legislation -- except it may not make any difference to the outcome. This time around, he is likely to be stonewalled by the Centre which will view the bill as an overreach by the Delhi government.

Editorial: Aam Aadmi Party, Will The Only Option In 2019?
Massive mandate: The party will have to remain focused on values which constitute the basic structure of our constitution.
It is, indeed, instructive to analyse why the ruling BJP was decimated at the polls in Delhi. But the more important point to know is how the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has emerged with a bang: 67 seats in a house of 70! The BJP is down to just three from the 32 it had won in the December 2013 assembly election.

Why Opposition Becomes Irrelevant In Indian Democracy?
Instead of accurately representing the people's choice, our electoral system has become a "winner-takes-it-all".
With his Aam Aadmi Party winning 67 out of the 70 seats in the Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal could have added insult to the BJP's injury by refusing it the post of the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Delhi legislative Assembly.
According to the norms, a party needs to secure more than ten per cent of the seats to nominate its LoP.

Big Question: How 'Exit Polls' Changed The 'AAP Tsunami'?
Psephology is an inexact science, especially in a diverse voter population like that of India. Even so, one has to wonder whether all is right with the opinion polling industry where no one got it right this time in Delhi – except the broad point of a clear win for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
While one can leave pre-election opinion polls out of the analysis, since voter intent can change by voting day, the fact that even the exit polls got it all wrong is worrying.

AAP's 'Valentines' Day: Quits On Feb 14, Returns On Feb 14
Its going to be exactly a year where he had resigned as Delhi Chief Minister, the AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will be taking oath as the CM in the capital state again on February 14 at Ramlila Maidan.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government ended dramatically their 49-day-old tenure, where the then Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stepped down on a Friday evening when their government’s move to introduce the Jan Lokpal Bill was defeated by the BJP and Congress in the Delhi Assembly.

Satire: Arvind Kejriwal Will Sworn In As CM On 14th Feb And Declared Leader Of Opposition On 15th Feb!
In a literal indication of its party symbol, the AAP has swept the Delhi Assembly elections winning an astonishing 67 out of 70 seats. Arvind Kejriwal will be sworn in as the Chief Minister on the 14th of February.
The BJP has failed to win the minimum amount of seats required to claim the Leader of the Opposition post after winning just 3 seats.

AAP Victory Feels 'Reset' Pressed On 'Indian Democracy'
Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party have rekindled the idealism that once animated the Congress of Gandhi and Nehru.
After the financial crisis of 2008, anger against the political establishment mounted across the globe. Protest movements, often crossing into civil disobedience, arose in several nations, and revolutions broke out in some. Despite the turmoil of the past seven years, it is striking how few new formations have gained power anywhere.

The Great Expectations: Will Aam Aadmi Party's 'Paanch Saal Kejriwal' Election Slogan Becomes Reality?
The sweeping victory for Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi elections is a reaffirmation of hope for many. The saffron Modi Wave has been pulled down, it has hit the rocks and dispersed into Delhi’s chaotic order. And now comes the real challenge.
Delhi is the capital of this country. It is where the hopes and aspirations of millions of people collide. The culture of Delhi is a complex mix of innumerable cultures from not only neighbouring states and cities, but many distant places as well.

Delhi Poll Results: A Triumph Of Promised AAP Change
The stunning sweep of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi election is, most of all, the triumph of the promise of change.
And a reminder that encapsulating the force of change into the appeal of the party or leader requires the hard, unrelenting and imaginative work of politics.
In 2014, Narendra Modi became the face of transformation at the Centre. But only months later, in 2015 in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has won, having successfully wrested that mantle from Modi, and in fact casting BJP-Modi in the role of the Establishment.

How Arvind Kejriwal Threw A Broom In Modi's Efforts?
Delhi voters showed, perhaps, the best performance in recent years by turning out in large numbers on Saturday for the Assembly election. If exit polls are any indication, voters have given a decisive vote in favour of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The high turn-out localities proved to be areas mostly housing lower middle-class and slum-dwellers, suggesting that the one-and-half-year-old AAP is sailing through comfortably.
It was a direct BJP vs AAP fight, with the oldest political party, the Congress, failing to make either an impact or presence in the polling booths.
