However, we can't help but think of the changes the year 2020 made in our personal and professional lives. All businesses have evolved to ensure that they can survive the financial blow that the 2020 pandemic caused them. Businesses have adjusted themselves for the upcoming 2021 fiscal year to crunch out the profits. You need to look at your business's future, and you need to grab the latest technology and implement it in your business for faster adaptation.

Today, we are discussing some of the latest trends for small businesses in 2021. One must implement these measures to get higher profit margins along with the opportunity of expanding their business in new territories.

1. Keep Your Business Active On Social Media

During the global lockdown, businesses were only able to interact with their customers through the internet. As we moved to another year, we can still see social media as a more considerable influence for big brands and small businesses. There will be a significant push towards creating authentic content for social media, which is specifically curated for the audience. Along with this, businesses need to collaborate with the micro-influencers of their niche. Those who drive the conversation of the same niche.

Tip-2

2. Do Not Be Afraid Of Trying Something New

If you are a small business, you are indeed looking for something light and agile. But once your business picks up speed, there will be a lot on your plate every day. 2020 took a lot of businesses to test unknown territories, leaving no option for a company to stay on a familiar ground on which they used to work in the past. Adapting to the recent changes has now become an essential part of the business cycle. This resulted in small business owners being more creative and inventing new ways to cover their losses. 2020 brought forced restructuring with it, but now companies are taking it as a blessing as the changes have brought benefits outside the pandemic situation.

Tip-3

3. Data Is Your Biggest Asset

From the last decade, we can confirm that data volume will be increasing from 2021 to 2030 as more and more people are getting connected to the world through the internet. Businesses need to leverage the data to understand how their customers react and interact with their services. In addition to this, it improves the company's decision-making, helping it to stand out from the rest of the competition.

Tip-4

4. Focus Your Shift To Online

If you are not doing it right now, you might have to do it in the coming years. In 2021, businesses are trying to connect with their online customers to increase online sales. For companies looking for a change in their marketing, this is the best time to keep an extra budget for online marketing. While staying at home, we have already seen how humans can still do almost everything that they desire, and companies are working tirelessly to make this transition as smooth as possible.

When you have an online presence, you have a place on the web where you can direct people to learn more about what you do and what type of services you offer. On the other hand, taking your business online will expand your customer base, which every business owner dreams of achieving.

Conclusion

In 2021, you need to adapt your business to meet people's heightened demand to find useful information, so it will make things easier for customers to make purchases and be able to work with other businesses. #KhabarLive #hydnews

‍‍‍‍The Best 5 Ways To Build Your Brand Online

As you may have noticed the cost of acquiring customers by running ads on Google or Facebook has increased by over 30-40% compared with last year.

This means that some of the businesses that were reliant on these platforms are not able to grow. In this article, we are sharing five alternative ways to build and grow your business online.

We will start by understanding the importance of building your brand and how it can help you grow your business for the long term.  The following tactics will guarantee success for your business, but at the same time, it needs lot of focus commitment.

A case for building a brand – why?

Most of the small businesses and start-ups rely on short-term marketing efforts. Unfortunately, in this digital dominant marketing world, we become obsessed with ROI, metrics and measurable goals.

As a savvy digital marketers, we think of marketing as more of the bottom of the funnel optimization. If we spend X, how much Y do we get? How many leads, how many closures, how many sales? All measured and accounted. The best part is that digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads makes it simple.

There is nothing wrong with it but, this leaves you at the mercy of advertising platforms such as Google, Facebook etc. Once the bidding war starts between many advertisers for the same audience, all the advertisers pay higher and higher prices. The only winner that remains is the platform itself. It can shoot your per customer acquisition costs through the roof.

And then you think – may we could have made an effort to build our brand earlier.

Let’s step aside for a while and observe.

We see some of the largest brands like Freshworks or any of those big companies; they spend a massive amount of time and energy just building the brand, right? So they’re not talking about selling you a CRM or asking you to join a demo; they’re just investing in brand awareness.

Why brand? Though it takes longer to build brand awareness and affinity, it acts as an accelerant through the rest of the marketing and sales processes. Prospects go directly to Google and search for your brand name and enter your sales funnel. And indeed, these prospects have very high conversion rates, lowering your per customer marketing cost.

And don’t get intimidated; it doesn’t require a massive advertising budget but only consistent effort and planning.

Let’s go right in with first technique.

FIRST: Build Trust by Offering Valuable and Insightful Content

Music is content. A piece of good music is valuable content. A blog article is content. An insightful blog article is brandable content. A social media post is content. Shareable social media is valuable content. You get the idea. In the content world, quality wins over quantity.
Valuable content builds brand affinity. It builds trust and makes people choose you over competitors. Leading with valuable and educational content can create an everlasting marketing machine.

Nowadays, creating videos, building a Youtube channel, and building a podcast has never been easier.

It always helps to think about what value a user can extract from your content. Be it insight, save money, or even laugh.  Your high quality content should add value to your audience. This is the mantra.

Don’t worry that the sales cycle is long. Play the long game. Provide value to your audiences, and they will reward you.

SECOND: Get Brand Collaboration to Reach Your Target Audience

Let’s be practical; creating a decent amount of good content takes a lot of effort and time. Further, it will take months before you can build your audience.
Here is what you can do. First, identify influencers, bloggers and marketers who already have your target audience and collaborate with them. It will give you a head start.

You can call this whatever you want, kind of influence or marketing or affinity marketing or partnerships or anything like that. But my idea behind it is to take the same approach. Partner with somebody else either in your industry or serves the same industry or has the attention of your industry. You can do anything to piggyback on someone else’s audience, essentially.

Also, look for synergies and complimentary. For example, if you sell mobile accessories, you can partner with tech and mobile bloggers and Youtubers. There are many synergies here, they are not competitors, but they can provide value. We can bring an audience to them that they wouldn’t have been able to reach before, and they can get an audience to us that we wouldn’t have been able to reach before.

It works when both the partners benefit equally. So I think it has to be that way that there’s an equal benefit or very close to similar use for both parties.

THIRD: Build Organic Social Channel With Deep Content Strategy

It is no surprise that organic social is usually underutilized.

In digital marketing, paid social channels can be so effective that businesses often lack the patients to invest in organic social. Instead, they can run a Facebook ad or Linkedin ads to increase reach, drive traffic, generate leads or sales quickly.

But building brand awareness and brand affinity need a different strategy. Owning and building followers on organic social channels is highly rewarding in the long run.

Writing a blog post for SEO purposes and then sharing that blog post on organic social doesn’t work. To build your brand, you will need to attract your audience with the right content concepts.

Additionally, if your competitors are not big on organic social, it is a huge opportunity. Double down on organic social and see your cost of customer acquisition goes down. Promising content compounds and creates an everlasting competitive advantage.

FOURTH: Build A Community

The idea here is to build brand affinity by building a community. A community is something interactive and engaging – consistently. That’s what I mean by community.

To build a community, have a discussion. For example, do a webinar rather than doing pre-recorded videos. Then, your customers or prospects can join the conversation, contribute questions, and you can answer and discuss.

Most software companies host user events or annual conferences. Something that builds discussion builds a community, even if that’s only once a year — a big way to build brand affinity.

Suppose you are a manufacturing company or a technology company. In that case, there are many ways you can start a discussion because there are people in your industry who want to grow and discuss ideas.
The marketing team has to start somewhere to promote an idea. So, for example, show what you’re doing with your equipment or our product. Where do you integrate? How does this work? How does it save you? And people will show you different use cases of leveraging your product than you ever thought was possible. Because people always find new solutions. So having that sort of thing not only helps you identify your customers better but also propels your brand forward.

If leveraged correctly, your customer is your best salesperson, but how can they sell on your behalf if those people don’t have a microphone? Right? So it’s always been that case studies referrals, testimonials, That’s what people want at some point of that buyer’s journey. They want to see that they want someone to instill confidence in them. So a conversation led by your customers talking about how happy they are with your product or service or how they’ve leveraged your technology to impact their business can make a huge difference.

FIFTH: Events and Webinars

The fifth idea is events.
Suppose you are hosting events, whether they’re small or big, intimate conversations that helped build that community. Seek collaboration with industry experts and speakers that inherently brings some brand awareness and credibility to the brand.

And then you mix in the rest of these components that we’re talking about, of adding value by creating a sense of community that is going to be something that takes you to the next level. So it’s an engagement that matters.

Create a positive experience. And it’s something that, frankly, you know, as marketers, you might not be able to measure, but you certainly can see the impact over time.

Well, this is a marathon, not a sprint.

There are tons of other things you can do. These are just five ideas that I came up with, but I’ve seen work.

All the best. #KhabarLive #hydnews

Rethinking Sustainable Solution To 'Rohingya Crisis' - Limits Of World Bank’s Proposal

Washington-based global lender the World Bank, through concessional lending arms, has gone to bat for Bangladesh to foster its development initiatives since 1972; committing more than $30 billion by backing priorities in economic, social and infrastructural development.

Since 2018, this UN affiliated multilateral body, largest source of financial assistance to developing nations, has committed a total $590 million grant to support Bangladesh to confront the challenges posed by the influx of the forcibly displaced Rohingya.

Recently, this bank has been extensively denounced both by policy wonks and mass people after its proposal, through "Refugee Policy Review Framework'' (RPRF), on Rohingya's integration in Bangladesh. How rational is this proposition of the World Bank?

Four years ago, in late August 2017, "breaking-news" across the world were dominated by the massive influx of Rohingyas to Bangladesh, a result of military-backed bloody "clearance operation". A 444-page report of the UN's Independent Fact-Finding Commission substantiated that more than 7,25,000 Rohingya fled to Bangladesh after this deadly crackdown.

The degree of atrocities of this "campaign of terror" embarked on by the military was so intense that the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights referred to it as "a textbook example of ethnic cleansing" whilst other investigators dubbed it as "genocide". In the first three weeks of August 2017, Bangladesh received more refugees than entire Europe did in 2016 during “Syrian crisis”.

Since then, Bangladesh has been generously hosting more than 1.2 million Rohingyas as short-term guests ensuring "safe haven" on humanitarian grounds. Now, Cox's Bazar based 13 Kilometers long Kutupalong "mega-camp", the largest refugee settlement camp in the world, is the home to this beleaguered community.

Rohingyas, living in Arakan for thousand years, have been actively involved in Burma's politics since independence. The recognition of Rohingya as Myanmar's citizens by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) resolves their identity crisis by providing a legal base.

Besides, in the hearing of ICJ, Aung San Suu Kyi defined Rohingyas as Arakan’s Muslims. Myanmar signed two repatriation agreements with Bangladesh in 2018 and 2019 respectively giving consent to take back their citizens. Although these repatriation agreements were in vain due to reluctance of Myanmar, still these agreements are significant proof of Myanmar’s official stance on Rohingyas’ citizenship.

Though there is no light at the end of the tunnel, still Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights, in response to the WB's framework, stated in point blank that they have no desire to receive Bangladeshi citizenship and would like to return to Myanmar.

The WB has proposed to review the RPRF for 14 member states, currently hosting refugees, including Bangladesh, for gauging the effectiveness of the grants for the refugees and host communities under its "soft-loan window" International Development Assistance. This global framework, being reviewed triennially, undertaken in cooperation with UNHCR, suggests providing refugees the rights to procure land & property, choose place of residence & freedom of movement, have equal access to the nation's public service & the labor market etc. like the citizens of the host country. The WB offered $2 billion to Bangladesh, if it integrates Rohingya refugees with economic & social rights.

The framework is germane for Bangladesh since this move will pave the way for the Rohingyas to become permanent citizens through integration into Bangladesh’s populace. Bangladesh reiterated its stance, by rejecting the proposal outright, stating that Rohingyas are not “refugees” rather “forcibly displaced persons” to whom Bangladesh extended temporary shelter.

The study "Impacts of the Rohingya Refugee Influx on Host Communities" conducted by the UNDP expounded how the overcrowding Rohingyas affected host communities. The major adverse impact includes price hike, increase of poverty, rise in housing cost, reduction in wage rate, deforestation, environmental casualty etc.

Moreover, the rise of intragroup and intergroup conflicts in the Rohingya camps shrunk the space of coexistence between the host communities and refugees by recasting the social makeup. This month, August 2021, marks the fourth anniversary of the Rohingya exodus to Bangladesh, but a sustainable solution is yet to be found.

The 1951 Refugee Convention suggests three way-outs to the refugee crisis: integration; settlement to a third country; or repatriation. Approximately 166.65 million population of Bangladesh, 8th largest in the world, makes it one of the densely populated countries with 1,125 people in per sq. km.

This small country, 92nd in terms of land size, with a total landmass of 147,570 sq. km, slightly smaller than the US Iowa state, is hosting 1.2 million Rohingyas which is higher than the total population of Bhutan. No country in the world is bearing the burden of so many refugees as by overpopulated Bangladesh. Bangladesh, with an unemployment rate of 5.30%, exports approximately 60,000 workers abroad every year which indicates the country's inability to create employment and struggle to generate employment for its gargantuan unemployed youths.

This attracts pointed attention towards inadequate demand of labor in Bangladesh. So, the possibility of integrating the Rohingya into the local community is nipped in the bud. As the number of Rohingya refugee is gigantic, more than a million in Bangladesh and some more are living in 19 other countries and no country has shown interest in receiving them, the option to settle them to a third country seems impassable in foreseeable future. The only way out to Rohingya crisis lies in safe repatriation to Myanmar.

As the Rohingyas also want to return to Myanmar, integration into Bangladesh, following WB's recommendations, is like denial of their fundamental & human rights. Some local experts believe that integration may lead to a new “Palestine Crisis” by jeopardizing the sovereignty of Bangladesh and endangering the geo-political stability of South Asia.

This kind of proposal from responsible global leaders like WB will motivate Myanmar to slacken the repatriation process by increasing complexities to this multifaced dilemma. Instead of suggesting such impracticable proposal, WB could create pressure on Myanmar to comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted in 1948 by the UN. It could offer financial incentives to Myanmar for expediting the repatriation in internationally monitored safe zones. Some international organizations are planning long-term programs for this “short-term emergency crisis” which will just linger the repatriation process.

Bangladesh is trying its level best to ensure decent arrangements for Rohingyas with its limited financial strengths. Despite not being a signatory of 1951 refugee convention, Bangladesh complies with its conditions, i.e., not forcing any Rohingya to go back to Myanmar.

Accepting WB’s proposal will add fuel to the fire by acting as a pull factor for other Rohingyas, around six lacs, to come to Bangladesh from restive Myanmar. Bangladesh has to bring substantial changes in its policy if it agrees to accept the framework, a complex & time-consuming process which will intensifies the misery. Safe & dignified repatriation of Rohingyas to Myanmar is the only sustainable solution to come to an end to their plight. Bangladesh needs more support from international communities to resolve this crisis.

The country may expect that the world communities will consider all the relevant issues including socio-economic conditions of Bangladesh before making any recommendations to resolve the protracted Rohingya refugee crisis by bringing light of hope to put an end to their struggling present. #KhabarLive #hydnews

How 'Buy Now, Pay Later' Option On Ecommerce Lead To Rise In Consumer Debts?

Consumer credit is rising. Given the enormous liquidity being pumped into the system, consumer credit and debt is headed for disaster.

But it should be highlighted that economic euphoria may be taking over the market right now, driving up demand. However, given the public’s crippled financial capacity owing to pandemic-related health costs or rising crude or gasoline prices, it is reasonable to expect debts to continue to climb indefinitely.

In light of easy credit, the “Buy now, pay later” concept has swept the credit business. While it is undeniable that such choices are rising in favour, several analysts have warned of increased default risks in the future. This is owing to the lack of credit checks and the “opaque” debt reporting mechanism currently being used.

The BNPL system does not scrutinise consumer credit histories. This mechanism can cause lenders to undervalue borrowers’ debt levels when evaluating fresh loan applications. This implies that the system is based on a frail monitoring mechanism that might cause a massive credit bubble. Consumers are also at risk of accruing greater credit card debt. In order to pay off past “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) obligations, a consumer may overspend, resulting in new credit card debt.

The BNPL system is strongly integrated into the economy as BNPL service providers frequently partner with retailers, both online and offline. This allows users to pay in future instalments.

This payment option is gaining appeal among younger investors due to the economy’s flexible lending policy. In response to the growing demand for BNPL services, more businesses have begun offering them.

That digital payment companies like Square are buying Australia’s “buy now pay later” supplier Afterpay for $29 billion shows how popular BNPL services are becoming.

But what will cause future increases in consumer debt? As a first point, the sector’s debt performance reporting is “obscure” and the debt monitoring mechanism is non-existent due to the absence of background credit checks Worse, many of these service providers do not report usage to credit bureaus, thus complicating the matter. Notably, BNPL debt is rarely visible on borrowers’ credit files. Growth in consumer debt can cause havoc on the economy as a result of this.

Desperate to avoid bankruptcy, these organisations providing BNPL services do not evaluate users’ creditworthiness or financial standing.

For big-ticket items like electronics, furniture and appliances, instalment plans or classic “BNPL” services were previously employed just for big-ticket items. This is because the latest “buy now, pay later” programme is aimed at younger, tech-savvy consumers.

More loathsome and uneventful sweets than credit cards and ordinary instalment loans make the whole plan even more nefarious and unpleasant. It has low or no interest rate, no late fee, and huge loan limitations that these technological apps offer as sweeteners. It also doesn’t require any credit checks. Deduced from the foregoing, this is clearly a formula for economic doom.

Also, organisations that provide such services do not have to bear the weight of the consequences. Consumers who don’t read the terms of borrowing could be negatively affected by this plan.

Rescheduling payments or being charged more owing to inadequate information are examples of potential costs. However, such borrowing might lead to an endless debt cycle. Without timely payment, Bnpl users may find themselves in danger. With credit cards and other strange methods of debt financing, many BNPL customers will be forced into a vicious cycle of debt.

Because of the pandemic, online purchasing has increased dramatically, leading to an increase in non-performing loans. Analysts warn that the rise in such services is related to the convenience of application and low cost of borrowing, in addition to lenient credit policies.

Because the system relies on a fragile monitoring mechanism, its failure might imply economic disaster. An economic bubble is becoming more likely as new platforms like Phonepay enter the market. As a result, authorities must take control of the situation. #livehyd #LiveHyd

‍‍‍How 'Female Egg Donors' Dupe IVF Clinics In 'Fertility Fraud' To Make Some Big And Quick Bucks?

Despite the stringent laws and absence of any regulatory authority, thousands of fertility clinics have mushroomed in the country over a period of time.

With infertility rising among couples in India, fertility clinics have become a booming business. Reports say that out of 10 lakh annual In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) cases in the world, 2.5 lakh, which is 25 per cent of the global share, take place only in India.

In the absence of any regulatory authority, thousands of fertility clinics have mushroomed in the country over a period of time. There is no monitoring mechanism in place on their quality of services and treatment which makes stakeholders, especially couples, vulnerable to various types of fraud.
One such fraud is committed by female egg donors where they hide their personal details, religion, and donation status to cheat fertility clinics.

IVF is a medical procedure in which a female egg and a male sperm are fertilised in a petri dish or outside the female body. After fertilization, it is placed in the female’s womb to grow as a fetus as in the case of a normal pregnancy.

Couples, where one of the two are infertile due to various reasons, opt for IVF clinics that arrange either female eggs or male sperm depending on the need in the case.

“If in a couple, the female partner is not able to produce enough or healthy quality eggs, we need female egg donors and if the male is unable to produce good quality sperm, we look for male donors,” Dr Suparna Banerjee, Clinical Director of Ankur Fertility Clinic, Kolkata and Institute of Reproductive Solution, Uttarpara.

“There is always a high demand for female egg donors, especially, in tier II and tier III cities. This is because while a male can give millions of sperms with natural stimulation, females are administered hormonal injections for 10 to 12 days so that they can produce some 10 to 20 eggs,” Dr Banerjee said.
Fertility experts say that a female’s egg quality deteriorates with each donation and good clinics don’t entertain a female donor more than three to four times.

“Though so far as I know, in many developed countries one female donor can donate eggs six times,” Dr Banerjee said.
Also, only healthy young females below the age of 30 years are considered good candidates for egg donation. These issues are governed by guidelines issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research as there is no law that regulates IVF procedures in India.

All these factors restrict female donors from egg donation and force them to resort to deceiving tactics. Fertility clinics say that female donors hide their age, religion, times they have donated eggs in the past, and their health status.

“While performing health check-ups we catch them red-handed. Like ultrasound can give us an idea of the history of their egg donations in the past but sometimes they can manage to get away with it,” Dr Saurav Prakash Maity, Gynaecologist and Fertility expert, Rashmika Fertility, Kolkata, said.
Dr Maity added, “We can catch them only when we retrieve poor quality eggs from them.

These experts say that there is no centralised data of donors in India and each clinic maintains its own records. So clinics cannot crosscheck and donors exploit the situation.

“They even manipulate their age and name by getting fake government IDs like Aadhar Card or Driving license issued. Just recently I caught a lady who came with a different Aadhar card with a different name,” a fertility clinic owner in Delhi said requesting anonymity.

Dr P Agarwal, MD, Sanjivani Test Tube Baby Centre, Sambalpur, Odisha said, “In places like Odisha where infertility among couples is a big issue, we always face a shortage of female donors and we have to depend on states like Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Mumbai.”

Fertility experts say that a female donor earns between Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 for each donation and normally those who are in need of money come forward for that.
Experts have differences of opinion on the question of payment as many feel that they are well-compensated while some call it exploitation by the hands of fertility clinics which force women to go for multiple donations and commit fraud. Some experts also say that since there is no regulator, IVF clinics also try and exploit these helpless women by sometimes paying them as minimum as possible.

The government is in the process of bringing legislation and the current Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Bill is being deliberated upon among stakeholders. Interestingly, the bill says that a woman cannot donate eggs more than once in her lifetime.
Fertility experts say that this will not only create a huge shortage of donors but increase many types of frauds as well.

“Unless the government maintains a national database of all the donors and gives its access to all the IVF clinics, it is impossible to ensure one donation per female donor in India. It will increase a huge shortage of donors and couples have to pay more also,” the Delhi-based fertility clinics quoted above said. #KhabarLive #hydnews

#Sponsored: Embracing E-pharmacy - The ‘New Normal’ In Healthcare Industry

In today’s technology-driven world, telemedicine is considered to be one of the most progressive technology models that have made it possible for mankind to get access to the finest doctors just at the tap of a button.

However, the space of healthcare is experiencing a recent innovation called e-pharmacy. It simply refers to internet-based vendors that sell medicines. Fortune Business Insights™ states in a report that the e-pharmacy market is expected to reach USD 177,794.9 million by 2026. Such platforms are gaining more popularity on account of the increasing geriatric population worldwide. Besides, the rising adoption of internet and smartphones in the developed and developing nations would also bolster their demand.

How is E-pharmacy Proving Beneficial for Consumers?

  • Data Recordings: Each and every medicine purchased can be tracked, thereby reducing the issues of self-medication and drug abuse.

  • Convenience: You can easily order the required medicines right from your computer or mobile phone. This will prevent patients from visiting a pharmacy.

  • Authenticity: Counterfeit medicines can be traced back to their suppliers, manufacturers, or channels with full tracking systems. It will enable the platforms to become more transparent.

  • Education: E-pharmacies possess an innovative technology infrastructure for providing crucial information to consumers, such as cheaper substitutes, medicine reminders, side effects, and drug interactions. This will surge awareness amongst patients about certain medicines.

  • Accessibility: Many times, you may not find the medicine that you’re looking for at local pharmacies as they only keep limited inventories. This would further make you visit a few more stores until you find that particular medicine. But, e-pharmacy platforms can aggregate supply. Hence, you can purchase the otherwise hard to find medicines easily.

  • Sustainability: This model would help the existing pharmacies to commence online operations and provide better service to consumers. At the same time, it would increase margins, eliminate wastage from the system, and lower working capital requirements.

COVID-19 Pandemic: Indian E-pharmacy Platforms Exhibit Surging Sales

Several e-pharmacy stores based in India, namely, PharmEasy, 1mg, and Netmeds that have been facing numerous regulatory issues for the past three years, are presently showcasing an astonishing surge in sales because of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the government implemented lockdown measures across the country, many consumers are rapidly inclining towards these e-pharmacy platforms owing to the fear of getting infected by coronavirus. However, multiple brick-and-mortar pharmacies are continuing to operate across India.

The founder of PharmEasy, Dharmil Sheth mentioned that the demand for medicines category has currently gone up to almost 100%. Pradeep Dadha, the founder of Netmeds declared that the company worked closely with its suppliers for stocks right after realizing the severity of COVID-19. It started utilized artificial intelligence (AI) to prevent hoarding by customers. All its delivery centers are following strict sanitization and cleaning measures to ensure safety.

Truepill Raises $25 Million to Broaden its Pharmacy Distribution Centers

In July 2020, Truepill, an online pharmacy based in California, announced that it raised approximately USD 25 million from Sound Ventures, Initialized Capital, Optum Ventures, and TI Platform Fund. The company will use this new fund to develop its existing infrastructure. At present, it possesses 6 pharmacy distribution centers that have a capacity of around 100,000 prescriptions per day. It would soon be able to add a fully automated, larger distribution center, probably in Arizona or the Midwest. The company’s president, Sid Viswanathan indicated that the COVID-19 pandemic has suddenly spiked the demand for medicines. Hence, patients are no longer visiting brick-and-mortar pharmacies. With this new development, the company’s total funding stands at USD 39 million.

CVS Pharmacy Launches Spoken Rx Prescription App for Visually Impaired

In July 2020, CVS Pharmacy, an American retail corporation headquartered in the U.S., announced the launch of its new app, Spoken Rx. It will be able to read medicine labels for people who cannot read typical print labels or those who have visual impairments. This new feature will provide patients the prescription information whenever and wherever they need it. By the end of 2020, the company will put up radio frequency identification (RFID) labels on every prescription bottle at almost 1,500 locations.

E-pharmacy of the Future

E-pharmacy platforms must explore other hidden requirements rather than just offering price discounts. The need may be to ensure the patients are never out of dose for their daily medication or to purchase medicines for loved ones from distant areas. Besides, they can provide other value-added services, such as counselling and personalized diagnostics. E-pharmacy is here to stay side-by-side with retail chemists. #KhabarLive #hydnews

Top 8 Useful Examples Of Artificial Intelligence

If you searched the term "Artificial Intelligence" on Google and found this article, then you have used AI (and hopefully benefited from it).

AI is a term that can be used to take you on a ride with Uber or have your phone correct a misspelled word. Artificial intelligence profoundly impacts almost all aspects of our lives, even though it might not be obvious. We'll be looking at eight ways artificial intelligence can save us time, money, energy, and effort in our daily lives.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

It is essential to understand precisely what Artificial Intelligence is before determining how it impacts our lives.

Artificial intelligence, or statistical analysis, is how computers can act on data to analyze and understand it. This is an automated process. Artificially intelligent machines can recognize patterns of behavior and adapt their responses accordingly. This article "What is Artificial Intelligence?" provides a more detailed definition.

Machine learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and natural language processing are the essential components of AI.

Machine learning allows machines to learn better based on big structured data and continuous feedback from humans and algorithms.

Deep Learning is often considered to be an advanced form of ML. It learns through representations, but data doesn't need to be structured.

Natural Language Processing (NLP), a tool for linguistic analysis in computer science, is one example. It allows machines to understand and read human language. NLP will enable computers to convert human speech into computer inputs. As an AI enthusiast, you need to master all the skills to grow your business. Dedicated AI ML Course by E&ICT Academy, NIT Warangal will give you an in-depth knowledge of various Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models to increase business value.

8 Examples Of Artificial Intelligence

Here are eight examples of Artificial Intelligence that you might come across every day.

1. Navigation and maps

AI has greatly improved travel. You no longer need to rely on printed directions or maps. Instead, you can use Waze, Google, or Apple Maps on your smartphone and enter your destination.

How does the application know where it should go? What's more, it can determine the best route, traffic jams, and road obstacles. While satellite-based GPS was the only option, users now have access to artificial intelligence.

Machine learning allows the algorithms to remember the edges and numbers of buildings it has seen. It makes the maps more accurate and helps with the recognition and understanding of building numbers and houses. It has trained to recognize changes in traffic flow and recommend routes that avoid congestion and roadblocks.

2. Facial Recognition and Detection

Artificial intelligence is now a part of our everyday lives. Face ID allows us to unlock our phones, and virtual filters can be applied to our faces while taking photos. Facial recognition is also used for surveillance and security by government facilities and at airports.

3. Text Editors or Autocorrect

AI algorithms use machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing to identify incorrect usage of language and suggest corrections in word processors, texting apps, and every other written medium, it seems. Computer scientists and linguists work together to teach computers grammar just as you were taught in school. The editors will notice if you are using the wrong comma.

4. Search and Recommendation Algorithms

Have you ever noticed that when you shop online or watch a movie, the recommendations you receive are often in line with your recent searches or interests? Intelligent recommendation systems learn your online behavior and preferences over time. Data is collected from the user at the front end and stored. The data can then be analyzed using machine learning and deep learning. The information is used to predict your preferences and provide recommendations for what you might like to listen to or buy next.

5. Chatbots

Customer service interactions can be stressful and time-consuming.  Companies find it inefficient, expensive, and difficult to manage. One increasingly popular artificially intelligent solution to this is the use of AI chatbots. These algorithms allow machines to answer commonly asked questions, track orders and make direct calls.

Natural language processing (NLP) teaches chatbots how to mimic customer service representatives' conversational styles. Advanced chatbots do not require any specific inputs (e.g., yes/no questions). They can answer complex questions that need detailed answers. Giving the bot a negative rating for its response will correct the error and make it right the next time. It ensures maximum customer satisfaction.

6. Digital Assistants

Sometimes, when we are overwhelmed, we resort to digital assistants to help us. You might ask your assistant to call your mom while you're driving. An AI virtual assistant like Siri can access your contacts and identify "Mom" before calling the number. These assistants use NLP and ML, statistical analysis, and algorithmic execution to determine what you want and attempt to get it. Voice and image searches work the same.

7. Social Media

Social media apps use AI to support content monitoring, suggest connections, and serve ads to targeted users.

Through keyword recognition and visual image recognition, AI algorithms can quickly identify and remove inappropriate posts. Deep learning's neural network architecture is an essential part of this process. But it doesn't end there.

Social media companies understand that their users are their products and use AI to connect them to advertisers and marketers identified their profiles. Social media AI can also determine the type of content that users like and suggest similar content.

8. E-Payments

It is a waste of time to go to the bank for every transaction. AI is a factor in why you haven't visited a branch in five years. Banks are using artificial intelligence to simplify payment processes and facilitate customers.

Intelligent algorithms make it possible to deposit money, transfer money, and open accounts from any location. This is thanks to AI security, identity management, and privacy controls.

You can even detect potential fraud by looking at credit card spending patterns. It is another example of artificial intelligence. These algorithms can determine what products User X purchases, location, and price range.

The system will alert you if there is unusual activity. #KhabarLive #hydnews

‍‍‍‍‍Can Poor Equipped Educational Institutions Shield Students From Covid In Telangana?

Fortunately or unfortunately we all have come to a situation where 'caution' and 'precautions' have become the watchwords of 'normal' life. Covid-19 has caused inestimable damage to human life, shattering norms in sphere.

Despite reeling under the impact of the pandemic, the governments in many states, including Telangana, are readying to reopen schools. At this point, nobody knows at what cost. Reopening schools implies a lot. Students will not be airlifted from homes to schools. They will take crowded buses. Apart from enough number of buses, schools need to be equipped with everything that prevents Covid infection so as to shield students completely. That is a tall order.

We are yet to overcome the impact of the second wave and the third way is said to be round the corner. Are we prepared to cope with the impending third wave? What steps have been taken to shield the future citizens of India from the virus? Just reopening schools is not enough. The authorities should have taken all precautionary steps before announcing the reopening of schools. We have had a bad experience of opening schools and closing them immediately after the surge of the second wave.

It is a fact that virtual classes have had a negative psychological impact on students, with everyone glued to smart phones or laptops for hours together during classes. The governments had made arrangements to make online classes trouble-free and tension-free. During the last two years schools have been virtually abandoned, with even basic staff not attending to their duties due to fear of Covid.

As education has become a lucrative business, many educational institutions do not flinch from admitting students into different courses even if they do not have the capacity to accommodate them. Most of the classrooms are overcrowded. For a classroom that can accommodate 20 students, double the number is admitted. It means students will never have proper space among them, let alone social distancing norms of keeping alternate seats vacant.

After the second wave peaked, claiming a lot of human lives, oxygen plants were opened in most of the hospitals. Now everything said to be 'right'. Restrictions on cinema halls have been lifted. Ultimately, students, whether they go to schools or cinema halls, will be exposed to the virus. Are all the schools or classrooms spacious enough to accommodate students as per the prescribed norms? Except for a few private and government schools or colleges, most of the educational institutions are in a bad shape.

They operate in private and congested buildings with no proper ventilation in the classrooms. In this pathetic condition, if schools and colleges are allowed to open, and students attend classes; will there be a shield to protect them from the deadly Covid, particularly the Delta variant that is spreading fast? So, pragmatic steps are required to prevent incalculable damage.
Even nations that have the best of medical facilities are cautious in this regard.

In spite of massive vaccination and spacious schools, they are protective of students' lives. There is strict implementation of Covid norms. Medical experts are warning that the new wave is slow in spread, but will be massive in its impact. The rising Covid cases Kerala is indicative of this.

All told, the vaccination of Indians leaves much to be desired. Against this background, if schools and colleges are opened, where is the guarantee that nothing untoward will not happen? Opening of educational institutions can wait.

The spread of the virus must be contained first. For that to happen, a well-planned strategy is needed. As students are engaged with virtual classes, there is no urgency in driving them to schools or colleges without making the institutes completely safe. #KhabarLive #hydnews

Telangana government mandating physical classes from September 1, is causing serious concern among parents.

The safety of children, who are required to go to school starting September 1 with the government mandating physical classes from that date, is causing serious concern among parents.

It is not that parents do not want to send their children to school, it is just that the absence of assurance of safety against Covid-19 once out of home is what appears to be holding parents back from fully backing the government decision to reopen schools for physical classes.

“I do not have the kind of money to take care of my six-year-old daughter if something happens to her. But, with no online classes, I have to send my daughter to school because I do not want her to miss any class,” says Kavita Konaboina.

For Namish Mehta, sending his two children to school is not a difficult choice to make, provided every safety and sanitation measure is attended to. The school they go to has security cameras and parents should be given access to them so they can check how things are being run, he says.

It is not just the practically enforced sending of children to schools that is bothering parents. Crowding, says Ashwin Kumar, is a serious concern.

“I have two little daughters going to the same school, but should I take the risk when there is no vaccination available for children,” he asks.

On other hand, social media platforms such as Twitter, some parents worried over how easy it was for their kids to catch a cold or a fever, while others were hoping that the state will have a change of mind and allow a mix of online and in person classes, so parents can choose an option that works best for them.

There is utter confusion among school and college managements, and parents, on the reopening for physical classes from September 1 as the state government continues to push educational institutions to reopen their doors to students.

Not every parent wants to send his or her child to school given the fact that there has been no assurance from the government on student safety other than ordering that every school and college should take up a thorough physical cleaning.

A post on Facebook that asked the question “How many of you are ready to send your kids back to schools or colleges from 1st September?”, and the responses to it pretty much summed up the mood with respect to how ready people are to see their children back in classrooms.

“Once the Covid caller tune ends then we will think,” was one witty response, but that summed up the biggest worry over sending children to schools and colleges – the possibility of children catching Covid-19.

On other social media platforms such as Twitter, some parents worried over how easy it was for their kids to catch a cold or a fever, while others were hoping that the state will have a change of mind and allow a mix of online and in person classes, so parents can choose an option that works best for them.

The challenges of safety, and student attendance are particularly acute when it comes to primary classes with children as young as five years being required to attend physical classes.

“The parents are not ready, we are also not ready to have little kids in classes. Some children may be looking forward to going to school because they may be missing out on playing with friends. But if something happens to a kid, can the parents take it? The school managements I am certain, cannot,” said Suman Earth, founder and chairman of Abode Montessori and Multiple Intelligence School. “No chance can be taken with pre-school and primary school students,” he added. #KhabarLive #hydnews

How RBI’s Digital Lending Norms Will Impact Online Banking?

It's no secret that technology is changing the world. While science has been a quick adopter of technology, the financial services sector has followed suit in the recent decade.

This suggests that the use of technology in banking and non-banking financial institutions is increasing. The use of technology in banking has been quite successful. The widespread use of technology has enabled numerous digital lending and payment services to reach a bigger user base. It has also simplified financial procedures, making banking credit easier to get.

It should be mentioned that everytime a new technology is invented, its regulating parameters must be altered. Thus, with all the technical advancements, its regulation needs to be updated to keep miscreants and irregularities in control. This prompted the Reserve Bank of India to require all digital platforms that conduct digital transactions to follow the Fair Practices Code.

The notice was reportedly issued following a series of heinous occurrences exposing unethical behaviour at several financial institutions. These vile, immoral tactics included charging high interest rates on borrowings and without disclosing how interest was calculated. Also, improper and unlawful use of customer data was being used to recover loans.

The RBI then created a Fair Practices Code that applies to all digital lending institutions. The code will also encompass organisations that partner with organisations that are under RBI's digital regulation. According to the letter, both the digital lending platform and the agent must be identified. For the loan business to combat disparities, this will help. To protect consumers' interests, digital lending platforms functioning as agents must adequately disclose to their customers the name of the bank or NBFC on whose behalf they are operating.

Protecting consumer interests is clearly a major concern for the central bank and the nation's regulatory banking apparatus.

Due to the business model's success and binding structure, the number of services provided by various online banking servers would decrease. Small-scale traders, retailers, and others who have been able to easily obtain loans will no longer be able to do so. Long transfer and transaction procedures may occur due to online banking checks. But it should be mentioned that the rules have been put in place to streamline the entire operation and eliminate all the egregious inconsistencies.

Second, all the inconsistencies in the system caused by non-regulation could have resulted in a big economic bubble. This indicates that an unregulated sector, notably internet banking, might have given rise to different Ponzi scams and generated an illusion of boom due to easy credit. The quick credit sources may have led to uninvited market exuberance, which can lead to unfavourable economic fluctuations.

This led to consumer betrayal and the commencement of a big ponzy scheme that may have effectively defrauded the market of its money and savings. It is important to highlight that economic savings are important because they usually lead to economic investments. Stale management can cost the economy a lot of money. Given that customer happiness is the pinnacle of pleasant banking procedures and operations, it was also discovered that clients were having a difficult time contacting their online banks. No sufficiently clear, methodical, and structured framework existed.

In reaction to this mishandling, RBI developed the “Fair Practices Code”. This was done to clearly establish that banks or NBFCs cannot escape their commitments by outsourcing any activity.

Overall, the apex bank's rules will assist create a friendly, trusting, and transparent atmosphere. It would also assist weed out shady digital lenders who may be acting as representatives for unregistered NBFCs.

Also, these rules will be the sole guardians of consumer data, which is vital for good functioning and analysis. The RBI fair practises code would assist clear up any miscommunications between lenders and borrowers. These channels will not only remove miscommunication but also act as a place for grievances.

In the banking industry, a clear cut, consistent, and systematic method is required for borrowing and lending. Following the RBI's suggestions and guidelines, some financial service companies have implemented their own internal rules. The fact that many financial services have made recommendations shows that not only the RBI, but the entire industry requires a clean sector. #livehyd #LiveHyd

Australia is regarded as one of the most varied and friendliest countries across the globe. With over 1,100 schools and 22,000 courses to select from, Australia offers a varied choice of education possibilities for overseas students.

The Australian Qualifications Framework distinguishes the Australian education system from that of many other countries by providing primary, secondary, and post-secondary education (AQF). The AQF is a national strategy that lays out how qualifications at different levels of education are linked.

International students can pursue education at all levels, from elementary and secondary school to vocational education and training (VET), English language courses and higher education (including universities).
Higher education (universities) and vocational education and training are referred to as 'tertiary education’ in Australia (VET and TAFE colleges). Higher education and VET institutions are governed by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) (https://www.teqsa.gov.au/) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) respectively. These organizations are in charge of institution registration and re-registration, as well as course accreditation and re-accreditation.

Australia's laws support great education and protection for international students, regardless of what you're studying for or how long you're studying. National standards for international education and training providers are set by the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act of 2000 and the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities & Providers of Education & Training to Overseas Students 2007 (National Code).

Before Studying in Australia, there are certain things one should be keeping in mind. Read through the following to explore the necessary steps that may be required before planning to study in Australia.

You may be enthralled by the prospect of studying in Australia, having heard tales of cute animals, endless beaches and lengthy summers. While Australia has a lot to offer, shifting countries may be difficult. So it's worth planning ahead of time if you're going to be an international student.

There's a lot you should know about studying in Australia before you go. Some things you'll learn when you get there, but here are a few highlights to help you get ready for your new life in Australia.

A visa is required

To study in Australia, international students require a Student Visa (subclass 500). This allows you to study in Australia full-time and is valid for the duration of your program. You must have been accepted into a registered full-time course in Australia to be eligible for this visa.

You might require health insurance

Unless you are a student from a country where the cost of international healthcare is paid by the government, you will need to purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of your stay in Australia. This is a requirement of the student visa since it helps pay for any medical treatment that may be required during your period of stay.

In addition to meeting the criteria of your visa, OSHC may assist you in obtaining insurance to cover you in the event of an accident or injury.

Make an effort to improve your English skills

It's always a good idea to brush up on your English abilities so you can keep up with your professors, especially if English isn't your first language. Try watching formal English-language television news and chat shows, reading books, or listening to podcasts (https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/general-english/audio-series/podcasts). Learn some Australian slang and have a good time. Even though they all speak English, Australians (or "Aussies" as they are known) have a wide range of terms (and accents).

Your educational institution's grading system may be different

The grades in Australia are not the same as those in other nations. A first-class mark, for example, could be assessed with an HD (High Distinction) rather than an A or A+. If you're intending on finishing your course in your native country, find out how this may affect your grades.

Consider carefully where in Australia you want to study

You can choose from a range of destinations for your study abroad vacation to Australia. It might be intriguing for you to study in the UK, but do you prefer to live in the city or on the outskirts of town? Do you want to spend all of your leisure time at the beach (that is something pretty much everywhere in Australia ), or do you prefer to go into "the bush"? Depending on what you study, certain regions may be better for you. Australia is where you’ve got to land.

If you're interested in marine biology, Queensland, which is home to the Great Barrier Reef, might be a suitable fit. If you're a business major, studying in Sydney might be a better option for you. Apart from Sydney, there are numerous possibilities in both large and small places. Consider attending events in Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, or Canberra, to mention a few.

Australia is an expensive country

In comparison to many other nations, you may perceive Australia's cost of living to be quite excessive. It's a good idea to figure out what kind of weekly costs you'll have and how much each one will cost.

To get a student visa, you'll need to show that you can afford a minimum living cost of $19,830 per year, but you might end up spending more, especially if you plan on studying and living in one of the larger cities.

What Does It Cost to Study in Australia?

The cost of studying in Australia is determined by the institution and degree of study that you select. The table below illustrates the range of course expenses for various types of qualifications.

If you think you are ready to bear the expenses of studying abroad, it is suggested that rather than forcing your mind with the mainstream thought to study in the US, it would be far more attractive to be experiencing a whole different sphere of education from Australia.

However, you might be able to work

In term time, a student visa allows you to work up to 40 hours per fortnight, excluding any employment required as part of your degree. During the holidays, you can work full-time. However, you will not be able to work in Australia until your studies have commenced.

The public transportation system might be confusing

Buses, trains, ferries, and trams make up Australia's public transportation system. International students are entitled to discounts on some or all of these in some, but not all, states.

Driving rules vary by state, while most will allow you to drive with a valid international driver's license — again, do your homework before you go. Keep in mind that we drive on the left side of the road in Australia.

The seasons are inverted!

If you're traveling from a Northern Hemisphere location, such as Europe or the United States, you will notice that the season you left behind has changed. You'll need to pack for the Australian heat as if it was your winter. Furthermore, Australia operates in a separate time zone from the United States, so expect some jet lag when you arrive.

In fact, to experience an all-rounder of seasons and living an educational life amidst the beauty of mother nature, studying abroad in Sweden or Australia would make you a good choice.

Australia is a hugely diversified country

Although Australia's population is small in comparison to its size (approximately 23 million people), it is home to over 25% of the world's population. This is one of the reasons why there are a number of languages spoken here. English is the official language and is likely to be the language in which you will be expected to learn.

Some of the meals may be odd to you

You might be able to obtain some familiar flavors from home depending on where you study in Australia. Australia has a diverse cuisine scene to go along with its cosmopolitan society.

Kangaroo, lamingtons, Tim Tams, and (if you're feeling daring) Vegemite are all good options for a traditional taste of Australia.

Don't underestimate Australia's size

Australia has a vast landmass of 7.96 million km2. So, unless you have a lot of time and money to spare, it's quite doubtful that you'll be able to see all of our key sights and towns in one trip. Plan the things you truly want to visit and determine if your expectations are reasonable; this will help you avoid disappointment later on.

If candidates can consider smaller countries like, studying from Hong Kong while reviewing the size and area, studying from Australia would anyday be a winning streak  with the upper hand.

Knowing what to expect when studying in Australia will help alleviate any concern you may be experiencing about such a significant life decision. There'll be plenty to learn once you arrive, so pack your bags and prepare for education outside your university's walls.

Scholarships

Many scholarships are available to students of various nationalities, but the requirements of each grant are specified by the institution or organization that is offering it. Applications must be sent directly to the scholarship giver, and you must contact the scholarship provider to find out if you are qualified for a scholarship.

Studying in Australia would be a journey worth experiencing. Once you walk out with that degree from Australia, you would see in yourself a new change, a person with a global outlook and brimming with self confidence. Not just will your life change, studying programmes from universities abroad can change your identity as an individual and shall be touching newer heights. #KhabarLive #hydnews
